KUMO Japanese Hibachi Steakhouse & Hibachi Grill

"We have eaten at several Japanese hibachi restaurants. This is our favorite. The place is always clean & neat looking. As soon as we stepped inside, we were acknowledged. We always ask for the hibachi. They served our drinks as a few more people came in & were seated at the same hibachi table. We are then served the cup of soup & a salad with ginger dressing on top. The cook arrived & started laying out the rice, eggs, along with the soy sauce was incorporated into the fried rice. He serves up the fried rice, scrapes the grill clean again and places the chopped veggies on the grill. Once they are ready, he places them on our plates. He cleans the grill again & soon places the meats & seafood on the grill. As these cook, he seasons them accordingly & keeps them moving. Within a very few minutes, he is able to place our choices on our plates. The food is impeccable. Hot, cooked right in front of you & we are able to enjoy exactly what we came for, a delicious meal. We will continue to drive the 24 miles to fulfill our tastes once again!"

"So I was welcomed with a a greeting that I will have to pay 18% gratitude before I could be seated! Upon agreeing I was seated! I asked for water with lemon and a lemon drop with tequila.. after being asked 4 times if that’s what I want I was told if I didn’t like it I wouldn’t be able to return it!! Which was weird and is not gonna happen! If I don’t like anything I will return!! Next I waited 30 mins before they started preparing the meal I requested after being asked questioned about my choice of meal order!! After having my food be prepared I had the joy of watching the bust boy clean around my food while I ate because they close at 3pm!!! The food had a great taste!! I took it to go cause I couldn’t eat without steamed water in my face as I ate!!!"

"Used to live in Indy and went to this all the time. We still go up there and eat here when we get a chance. will love the food the sushi is the probably the best sushi we've ever had in a place you can get cooked Sushi and raw sushi they have the best sweet potato Sushi if you ever get a chance and you don't want to have real meat. Awesome very fun atmosphere love the hibachi grills they have."

"This is a great restaurant superb quality amazing service. Every time we come to hibachi chefs are always a treat to watch they keep you on your toes keep you entertained and the food which is prepared right in front of you is delicious. The sushi bar is my favorite where the sushi chefs Are very interactive with you. Super friendly, replaces very professional. The sushi is top-notch grade A1 great for a casual dinner date night or a big party. I highly recommend KUMO for any occasion. I always get excited when we plan to eat here"

"I'd like to start, by giving huge props to the service workers at Kumo. Courteous and patient on our first visit. Had space when needed, and they checked in periodically at perfect intervals. Food was great, pictures posted. And the atmosphere was super chill. No server seemed unhappy, and although we took a seat at a booth instead of with a live cook, we were able to enjoy the showmanship from afar. I would recommend the establishment to any who enjoy authentic Japanese food. Final note, we were unable to finish our meals and forgot the to-go containers. Our server brought the food out the door, ran up to us, and made sure we got it. Well done."
