"I can't get over how amazing this place is! The food was incredible, the staff were so friendly, the atmosphere was perfect! I spoke with Velma who runs the restaurant and she was born in Cuba and raised on this food. They used a bunch of Laz's grandmother's recipes even! So you are getting at authentic as you can get Cuban food AND coffee! I tried for my first time the authentic Cuban sandwich and it was perfect! I tried the yuca fries and they were so good! I've never tried those before but I will definitely get them again. I need to try the sweet fried plantains next time though because Velma said it's her favorite. I also got a shot of the Cuban coffee and it was so perfectly smooth and sweet and delicious! I can't say enough food things about this restaurant! You have to give it a try! "The food was very good. My wife and I ordered the cubano( the signature sandwich that the employee suggested), and it was delicious. We also ordered the potato ball with cheese and spinach inside, and that was pretty good, too, but I would like to try the chicken version. The downside was the service. We went for lunch, and although it had a decent amount of business, it was still not super busy. They only had two employees, and we waited about 35 minutes for our food. It could be that someone called in, so we are willing to go back and give it another try."
