"Stopped by around lunch time, thought why not try it out! Great hidden gem.. Service was excellent! Food was plentiful and great flavor! We had two meals.the fried fish and fried turkey. Wish I took pictures but next time I will! Stop in grab a bite, only disappointment was everything on the menu wasn't avaliable."

"Today was my first time ordering from the restaurant. I ordered the fried turkey (they were out of chicken) and was skeptical that it would be dry but it wasn't. It was actually very good! The portions were huge and the meal came with fried plantains, mac and cheese, red beans and rice, and some type of spicy slaw. Got to watch out for that slaw, it'll catch you off guard with the heat but it is very good. Not realizing how big the portions were I also ordered the vegetable (beef) soup (Saturdays only). It was very good as well. I'm glad I stopped in today and will definitely go back. SIDENOTE: It does take some time to get your food, I imagine it's because it's being cooked fresh. Just enjoy the wait knowing you will be getting hot, fresh, and delicious food."

"My wife and I did like the ox tails and the fried turkey was ok. We did not like the fish."
