La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Moss Point - Pascagoula 7001 Mississippi 63, Moss Point, MS 39563

"Needed a dog friendly hotel and have never been let down by La Quinta. I guess there’s a first time for everything . Not only was there a $50 deposit, but we were not allowed to leave our well behaved dog in the room alone. (what’s the point of being dog friendly?) Upon checking in we realized that the mattress was probably the original from when the hotel opened. Hardware in the room were rusty, bathroom was grimy and only half of the air conditioning unit vent was working. In addition to all the that the staff was unfriendly and not accommodating. It always seemed like we were inconveniencing them when asking something. The breakfast was non-existent to put it nicely. I should have read the reviews prior but I absolutely would agree this hotel is not worth the price, we should have stayed in our car."

"This place is a Scam. Pool was locked and closed. Water fountains and ice machines don't work on 1st floor so you have to buy from their little store by the front desk. Breakfast is horrible. This is our 2nd time here and we will be reaching out to corporate for a full REFUND. They blast the ac units so the rooms are cold so you don't smell the mold and mildew!!! Manager should be ashamed. Employees who work here smoke weed on the clock and don't care about the guests. Nothing is marked or labeled in the breakfast area AND WE DIDNT KNOW WHAT WAS WATER OR COFFEE. It's way over priced for what it offers which is nothing but a nightmare. Lighting in the bathroom is poor and the vents in the bathroom are covered in dust. Disgusting place. Don't come and stay here!!! Go to motel 6!! CALL CORPORATE TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK!"

"The room obviously had been flooded before. It was extremely musty, very damp and humid. It was stinky and the lamps and other hardware in the room was rusty. All of our clothing felt damp the entire stay. They ran out of breakfast before the cut off time but did not replenish. The coffee looked like chocolate milk and tasted awful. This is not a great place to stay. Damp , dank, musty, sticky, gross!!!! After two bad experiences two years in a row (Quality Inn), lesson learned. Moss Point is NOT a good alternative when Biloxi is over priced for Cruising The Coast. Just pay extra for a clean room in another town."

"Toilet in bathroom was still dirty, face towels were stained one of them was actually a dish rag, staff was not very friendly or helpful. Coffee was terrible. Would not ever go back or recommend! This is disappointing because most laquintas are decent. They also applied the pet fee even with a registered service animal asked to see my card which has never happened at a laquinta or any other hotel for that matter."

"Don't bother. This is quite literally a last resort motel. It was a train wreck from the moment we arrived and we should have just bailed immediately. The worst parts... The bathroom door wouldn't close. The hinge was completely broken and it stayed two inches open all the time. The air contained like a jet was flying in the room with us. No way to sleep with that racket. Mold. Unfriendly employees, several of which were smoking weed outside frequently. Breakfast was barely tolerable. No water to drink with it. Sausage was barely warm. Bedding was very worn. I could go on. Don't stay here. It's not cheap enough for how terrible it is."
