"The manager there is horrible, and even lies to his employees about policy to unjustly fire them. I will never go there again."
"I rarely enter this store. I live in Vincennes and when I do stop in the cashier is so sweet to me. Bailey. She goes out of her way to show me products. Though, every time I do come in I get money from the computer she is always eager to help me and the last 3 times I have done this we have stood at the register for over 20 minutes waiting for someone to give her my money. Thank the lord there wasn't many people in the store. I had to be at work. All 3 times I heard her call for them over 5 or 6 times. The one reason I felt the need to complain is because she did not. She held her smile and constantly apologized on behalf of them even though it was obvious it wasn't her fault. Now, this happened the last 3 times I received money. I hope they hire more staff or schedule someone to help her and the other girls that get put up there alone."
"We always have excellent service and are frequent customers at our local Walgreens, Although today as we were checking out I punched in my rewards card number, the cashier Nancy punched the wrong name under my card and refused to void it and let me use my rewards. I told her I am not paying for anything until you void this transaction and let me use my point she was extremely hateful and huffy and when she called the manager up, she blamed me for choosing the wrong name. I didn't! Then tried to say my number wasn't mine because it was under my maiden name instead of my married name ugghh absolutely annoyed with the customer service I received. Since when does cashier's have the right to talk back to the customer. I was even polite enough to let the person behind me go ahead before she re rang up my order. People like Nancy need to stay out of retail."
"I don't use the pharmacy but have used the front many times. On the positive side, it's a visible and accessible location which makes it tempting. There's always an employee close to the register so you don't feel abandoned. On the negative side, 3 out of 4 cashiers will be engaged in some long drawn out conversation about mundane trivial things with the customers in front of me every single time I check out there. Someone with 4 items might be there for 5 or 8 minutes while they talk. Not only do they talk but they have no sense of urgency physically (most but not all). I tend to think of these small corners stores as a place to get something quickly so this is frustrating. If you like going slowly and socializing with the cashiers, then maybe you'll see this as a positive. Lately I've been testing out running into Ruler or Save-a-lot when I'm in a hurry if they have what I want, and as long as its not pay day for everyone I can practically sprint right through, despite customers having way more items on average."
