"Little Cairo has a nice atmosphere. Hole in the wall but also upscale enough to be welcoming in the area. A little confusing to be seat. You just walk in and sit down but that is not clear. The waiter was pleasant and helpful. The menu was limited but had all the basics to have a good Egyptian Mediterranean meal. A lot of inconsistency in the food we ordered. The lentil soup was amazing as well as the spanakopita. Salad with everything was fairly basic but average greek salad. Beef and Chicken Kababs were well flavored but very dry depending on which plate you picked from. The lamb was dry all around and bland. Rice was good. The Taziki sauce was not good at which was disappointing. Grape leaves are an acquired taste and these ones were no acceptation. Not my favorite Grape leaves but traditionally to the more Egyptian style of food. Overall its a good authentic restaurant but would benefit from some quality control."

The restaurant's cleanliness and hygiene standards were up to par, contributing to a comfortable dining environment. 9. While the Turkish coffee might not have been outstanding, the overall quality of the food compensated for it. 10. I would recommend this Egyptian place for those seeking a flavorful journey through Egyptian cuisine, accompanied by a decent cup of Turkish coffee."
"If you are familiar with my scoring then you won’t be hungry. My first visit to this spot was on a cold day a few months ago. I had the best hummus in the Midwest to date as my favorite hummus was actually in Santo Domingo- I’m digressing. Upon return this was not the experience I had in that cold day 2022 December in Carmel. I added the other pictures as my experience limits me to describing the hummus as previously having relish - but I am not sure what it is. So basically the menu holds another name therefore the assumption is that it is the same spot but different owners. The falafel is okay as the texture is great however the flavor does not send waves through my taste buds. The boys had lamb over cooked and chicken dry. The rice had a nice flavor however I was already fired up about the hummus I really couldn’t see a differentiating flavor that would urge a return visit. You won’t be hungry when you leave short of a party in your mouth friends."
"Overall a great experience. The spanakopita and hummus were amazing. All the food was really good! The serving sizes were very generous. After we shared the veggie platter and spanakopita, we could only eat a few bites of our entrees. Not a complaint, just some addt info; It was a little chilly in there (cold night) and the music was kind of loud. When we walked in we weren’t sure what to do since we’d never been in before. There was no sign about seating or anyone to direct us. We asked the guy at the counter and he handed us menus and said to take a seat anywhere. Then a server took care of us the rest of the time. Kind staff. Also, I think this is Fayouz Grill, not Little Cairo Cafe?"
"This restaurant was not too big or too small, but just right. The atmosphere was nice and quite. The staff was friendly and our food was good. He had a large party so some food came out fast, some straggled along and I’m sure it was only because we out numbered the staff. They never got upset with us and maintained a friendly professional attitude with us the whole time. Let me mention I had the gyro dinner I believe and never have I ever had lamb meat so tender and moist! Would eat here again! Now you guys go give them a try and jet be know what you think!"
