"I have shopped at Allen & Allen Clothing for several years and I have spent way too much money there (which is my fault). Recently I purchased a turtleneck sweater in a lovely light blue color. I normally wear an xl but this sweater was tight-fitting, so I thought a 2xl would work for me. $69 for the article. I purchased it with the thought that 'if it doesn't fit then I'll bring it back'. That's how retail stores normally work, right? I made the purchase at 1pm in the afternoon, tried it on at the house and I didn't like the fit. I arrived back at the store around 3pm, roughly 2 hours later. The same salesperson, J Allen, was there and I told him I wanted to return the sweater. I still had the receipt, 2 hours had passed, no damage had been done, and I had the same salesperson that sold me the sweater. Real easy transaction, right? Not! I was quickly informed that, "we are an All Sales Are Final store" by J Allen. Huh? Where? There is no signage stating this fact, there is nothing mentioned on the receipt and there was no verbal notification. I was beyond livid because now I really didn't want the doggone sweater, it was the principle at this point. It's one thing to inform your customers of a rule like that, it's another to not have any indication whatsoever of this policy, yet you enforce it. I guess I will keep the money that I have been spending at Allen and Allen Clothing in my bank account from now on. This is written as a warning to those of you who decide to continue you to shop there. Enjoy your experience."

Very nice and fashionable selection of mens clothing, hats, shoes etc. If its not in store it can be ordered and in store in a few days. Now on to the store itself, there's a small seating area in back and another near the front of the store with a tv AND drink station. Yes! You can have a relaxing drink, water or soda while you converse and shop in the store. It's a whole vibe! You won't be disappointed."
