Long John Silver's

"I purchased the 2 fish and 3 chicken platter also added 3 shrimp. My order usually takes a little while because I assumed that my order is cooked some what fresh... but it didn't this time... when I looked through the drive thru window I could see a lot of food was sitting in the place they out it once it has been fried... the breading on all of my food was old and my shrimp was cold.... and to top it off.. the piece that is in the picture was the final straw for me.... when I called the store... nobody answered. That's why I looked the store up and posted this review and picture. Have to answer the phone people....or else I wouldn't have even left this review"

"The place was clean the Hush Puppies were awesome very light like air fried , an employee went around and asked how our food was and if everything was good. I got the 3 chicken dinner was very good"

"My experience at the Long John Silver’s in Plainfield was horrible! The manager was extremely rude and after I paid $10 for a combo he gave me literally a countable seven french fries and a half filled large drink. After going inside to explain my concerns, he then explain to me that what didn’t even cover the bottom of my box was a full order of fries. All of the other employees were very well mannered and helpful but the manager was the worst I’ve ever experienced."

"Ok the outside of this place looks almost abandoned, LONG overdue for a remodel. My wife has nostalgia for this chain so insisted we try their fried chicken (she doesn't like fish). The INSIDE however is VERY nice and clean and updated. But for the chicken- It is good, it is nicely seasoned, super hot and fresh, juicy. It is odd to me the batter used is basically the batter you use for seafood, but that does make it unique for sure."
