"It was so easy to rent from rent a center…I didn’t even have to go into the store!"

"So alittle upset with them. They used to have the old management with Andrea there, LOVED it when the old team was there. However, this new team lied to me about our bill and everything completely change. We decided we wanted to change out our furniture sofa and bed. The first 2 times I was told they couldn't fit a sectional in our house so we settled on a set. Then they didn't even try to fit the set in my apartment they just called to say it wouldn't fit. I go down there upset finally they said they would deliver our furniture. So after awhile we got living furniture. But before this I had an issue with our bed set how I was told in store everything was apart of this set then when they deliver it I find out there is missing hardware. (When Andrea was manager she would of checked and called before delivery date if there were any issues and then would of given us alternatives before delivery so we could still have a viable delivery date) nope they show up with my stuff saying there are missing hardware pieces. So now I'm being charged for a full bedset and I don't even have the full bed set. Now let me tell you before we even had all this we asked them if we could have these things and still pay around the same amount that we were paying before biweekly. Well I was told yes by one of the gentleman and said he would give us a great deal. Come to find out today that the lowest they can do our bill is 65 dollars above our old payments!!!! What??? I'm sorry no. . We had 0 problems with the old crew and they used to have great service and I was never lied to or felt pressured. Now these new people make me feel pressured and lied to. So don't go through them. Go through American rentals or like Aaron's or something other than them. I'm usually a person who doesn't complain but when I feel pressured and insecure about something I feel it is justified to be upset and voice my opinion."

"We have been renting through them for a little over two years. I HAVE NEVER BEEN HARRASSED the way I have been with them weekly!!!!!! Until Covid hit we had never been late on a payment and even when covid was in it's prime we still paid just a little late a few times. We are back to normal and still pay on time. Just like your electric, gas, water, rent.... I know when my payment is due. They will call sometimes up to three days early asking about our payment every week!!!! Aas soon as we pay them off and even if I lost everything and had to start over I would go without before I rented from them again. It's exhausting truly!!! Absolutely ridiculous!!"

"Very nice people. I paid cash for a living room suit that I didn’t like and they worked with me and allowed me to trade it for something different. Excellent customer service and we love the new Ashley sofa and loveseat set. I couldn’t get Star Furniture to order what I needed from Ashley, they claimed it would take 3 months!! but these folks were able to, without a problem in 3 weeks."

"The first rentals we got we're couches and they were great throughout the whole process. Then we paid the couches off and decided to get a washer and dryer. That's when they started jacking us around. We were close to paying them off and the guy said we owed 198. Well I made a $50 payment then 2 weeks later I made another payment of $66. Then about 2 weeks later I called them to see how much I had left and they said I owed $276. Also we are supposed to have a warranty on our couches. Well that's a bunch of lies too. We have contacted them several time asking to come fix our couches and they never did. Some warranty that is. The washer and dryer was all scratched up and looked like junk when we got them. Definitely did not look the same as the ones we originally picked out in the store."
