"They have pretty good deals on everything from furniture to bicycles"
"I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Purdue Surplus Store, and I must say that the highlight of my shopping experience was undoubtedly the incredible assistance I received from Justin Hainje. From the moment I stepped into the store, he greeted me with a warm and friendly smile, setting the tone for what turned out to be an exceptional encounter. Justin's exceptional customer service skills were evident from the start. He was not only knowledgeable about the products available but also displayed genuine enthusiasm in helping me find the items I needed. He attentively listened to my requirements and preferences, going above and beyond to provide insightful recommendations and expert guidance throughout the process. What impressed me the most about Justin was his unwavering dedication to ensuring my satisfaction. He patiently took the time to answer all my questions and provided detailed explanations about the products, their features, and possible use cases. His wealth of knowledge about the store's inventory was truly remarkable and invaluable in helping me make informed decisions."
"Although they mostly (or maybe exclusively) sell surplus university equipment, furniture, etc. (hence the name), there are a lot of hidden gems here that you can repurpose. I bought this mail sorting cabinet thing, I'm not sure exactly what they're called, but it makes for a great modular storage unit since the shelves can be moved around to create hundreds of different configurations. Of course there's also a bunch of old lab equipment that maybe someone has a use for but aren't really aimed at a general audience, but it's definitely worth a visit. Their inventory is constantly changing but they're active on Facebook so you can see what's newly arrived. Highly recommend!"
