"Terrible experience. I don't know if the young lady was just rude or racist. I put my stuff down on the counter and I'm waiting. Then a group of girls come on the side and she's like are you ready to check out to them and then asks for the other ladies behind the counter to help out. It's cool never again. I only went when I had to get something last minute anyway so I'm good."
"I recently visited Plato's Closet after driving an hour and a half, arriving an hour before the closing time listed on their website. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The staff members on duty were noticeably rude and dismissive. Despite my considerable effort to reach the store well within operating hours, they flatly refused to take the time to go through the items I brought in. This was not only inconvenient but also disappointing given the long drive and my anticipation of a productive visit. I hope the store management addresses these customer service issues to improve future experiences."
"This place is horrible.. I have been here several times and haven't been able to donate anything. The last time I went I went with 2 bags of clothes, most still in plastic and tags on them. I brought nice shoes and a coat. The bought a pair of basketball shirts for $2.80... They stated to me that they store focus on high schoolers which was funny to me because my son is in 10th grade and sum of the clothes were his. They were rude... I will never go back here and definitely wont recommend"
"Just left there! Most definitely prejudice! When I came in the First Lady didn’t speak and gave me a nasty look. The other lady greeted me instead. I brung a basket of nice clothes and most of it had the tags on it. They stated my things were stained and don’t sell well in the store. The brands were champion, old navy, h&m, Ralph Lauren polo, and nike. And men’s jeans came from DTLR. So what sells well is my question. These were brand new items tags in tact! As I looked around I saw the same brands stained and lots of dirty shoes. I’ll never donate there and I most definitely have no reason to shop there. They won’t accept anything from people of my race."
