"When I first got my food I thought it was a little pricey for the portions I received. When I tried the meat it was juicy, Soft and there was no fat in it. I might go back again."
"The food here is really good. I got the crispy beef taco dinner. There are not a lot of Mexican restaurants that offer crispy beef tacos, so I was excited to see them on the menu. If you haven't had the crispy beef, you need to try. They are beef tacos that are deep fried so that the shell is crispy. Sooo good. I will definitely be back!"
"First and last time coming here. Sad experience and hostile environment. Been planning to go to Emilios for awhile now because I was told they have live music, good food, and good margaritas. Made reservations for 7pm. Some of our party was a few minutes late. Very big nice building inside with hispanic restaurant painted on the walls. We had a party of 5 two were running (10min) late. I came in to let the host know that half our party was here but was willing to see if we can be seated until our other guest arrived. Host was very rude and nasty towards me and my guest. Saying that next time she will not allowed this to happen and it was frown upon that my party wasn’t here and it’s an event night and I should know better. Very shocked at how she talked and represented herself for this restaurant. I wanted to leave immediately but because we had other guest and they really wanted to “enjoy” this place we stayed. The night became worst. No way should a person be working here the way she acted the whole time we was there. You would have thought the place was crowded. It was not! The host crammed us all together in a booth and we couldn’t even see the live band/music. The live music consist of two people singing older songs from 50s-80s but with the same beat same key tempo of music. It was loud for sure couldn’t even talk among the people at the table and couldn’t hear our waitress. But it was Nothing to get up and dance about. I saw a table next to us that said reserved and I asked our waitress could we move there and I said maybe that’s our table since we made reservations. Waitress went and got the host. Oh boy was we in for treat. NOT! She was even more rude. I tried explaining to the host but she cut me off in mid sentence very rude again and told me no it was for someone else this the only place we could be seated. Mind you our party had been there from 7pm-10pm and not one person was seated at this “reserved” table. So now I started to think host was being racist. Walking pass us and side eyeing our table. Why would you treat and talk to people like this. Some of our food was very spicy and some was bland. I order a Carne asade. Don’t bother ordering any margaritas it had no alcohol taste like water down foaming juice. FYI!! If you do dine here bring cash. They charge an hefty percentage when using credit card. Our meal in total was about 138 and using credit card it would have been 146. This is not included for the waitress “tip” either. That is separate. They also do not do separate transactions. You either pay with cash or credit card for one bill. Definitely lost my respect and business for sure!"
"I've been thinking about dining at this restaurant for a while, and today, I finally made it. It is hard to see from the outside, so I didn't know what to expect. The ambiance was sort of modern with lots of images of Mexican artistic personalities, which was pretty cool. There was a band playing music from the 60s -90s. They were great but it you want to carry a conversation, expect it to be loud. I ordered the nachos, which were not great for the price, mostly like chips around a large plate topped with beans and melted cheese, I would pass on them. For the main course, I ordered the Lomo en chile de árbol and that was actually pretty good, I would have it again. It is very spicy, in case you want something mild don't order this. My jalapeño drink was not great, so I'll try something different. Overall, it was good enough to give it a second try."
