"Today.my 71 year old mom and 91 year old grandmother went to get food. After tasting they realized it was really greasy, the both have cholesterol problems and ask for a refund. The person in charge a Mexican female said the manager wasn't available and she couldn't refund their $28."

"Food was good just too salty. When I walked in, I passed by a lady who appeared to be a manager as I went to wash my hands. When I got to the front counter, I waited a good 5 minutes before the young black male(only other worker) came and tried to take my order. Apparently he hadn't been trained on the register yet but he saw me waiting and at least wanted to try to help me(good job young man). At this point, the manager lady emerged from the back(now about 8 minutes from when I first walked past her, and started to get upset with the young man because he hadn't been trained on the register yet. In his defense, I told her that he simply wanted to help because he saw me waiting a while and I appreciated that. She didn't acknowledge my statement, gave me a cold look and just proceeded to take my order. No smile, no professionalism, just mad at the world. So as I was eating my food(which I was extremely close to requesting a refund), I hear her talking very condescending to him about putting something in the wrong box. This kid was obviously new, they were short staffed and he clearly had not been trained properly or at all. Anyway, hats off to the young man for trying to help me and that manager lady needs to work behind the scenes maybe in a warehouse or something, but definitely not in a customer facing role, and definitely not in leadership. And to the young man, if you're reading this, thank you for caring about the customer experience and for trying. And you don't have to put up with this type of management, find a place that respects you and your work ethic. Print this review and take it to your next interview. God bless!"

"I always like the fish and chicken combo. You get the best of both worlds of Long John Silvers. The hushpuppies are always fresh along with the food is hot and crispy. I enjoy the fish tacos which has a different depending on the type of sauce. It's simply a fish piece with Cole slaw and sauce on a flour tortilla but it taste good. It's also filling."

"Basic food, nothing to jump for joy about. Was salty and it didn't taste like it did 20 years ago. Soda selection was weak and mens bathroom smells like urine."

"The service was great but the food it self was a huge let down…me and my wife got the number 12 plater which was 3 pieces of fish and 2 pieces of chicken. It’s an amazing portion of food which will surely fill you up if you can even finish it all but the taste was just horrible. The batter that was used was very greasy and oily and overly salty. It was so bad the neither one of us could even get past one whole piece of chicken or fish. I remember as a child liking LJS but this experience has completely turned me away from visiting them ever again. Once more the service and staff were great but the food it self was a 0/10 for us both."
