"The molcajete was good. The ground beef quesadilla was bigger than expected, but they used a seasoning many Mexican restaurants use that somehow removes the flavor. Prices were extremely reasonable. It only exceeded $20 because I ordered too much. The chips were the best I've had. Service was a bit slow. It took a while to get the food after ordering. The interior wasn't traditional Mexican. It was one large room with few decorations. The table next to mine was celebrating a bit loudly. It created an October fest atmosphere, which never puts you in a bad mood. But not what you would expect."
"Very good Mexican food. Great service from waitress. I had the Mexican pizza it was delicious. They also have big truck parking."
"Amazing food. I had the shrimp tacos with Chipotle mayo, Margarita on the rocks, a Corona, and the fried ice cream. The shrimp taco platter was huge and I could only eat one taco and finish off the rice before the Margarita kick in and I was starting to get full but I really wanted the fried ice cream. So I boxed everything up, finished the Margarita, and ordered the fried ice cream. I finished the ice cream barely and I still had a beer to finish. Now I am really full. Ugh... So I gave the atmosphere a 4 star only because they are renovating the kitchen and that is the only reason. I will give 5 stars for everything else. My only question was that if the food was this good then where are all the customers? Hence the lengthy review. Prices are pretty good too."
"700+ reviews can't be wrong! As an over-the-road trucker packing next door is ample, I've had about 5 dinners here in the past this is my honest review. The portion size for the price can't be beaten, flavor In chicken or beef can't tell the difference, the fajitas are the largest portion of food I've seen for $15. Especially considering it had shrimp, chicken, steak, and chorizo, it was fairly greasy but a nice change from the normal chimichangas I have here which is also delicious, don't get me wrong the fajitas were great but the shock of all that food, and 3 very small flour tortillas and to my shock when I asked for a few more it seemed like a not big deal, then I saw the bill... I should have been warned about the extra cost, although just 1.75... but still this set a bad taste in my mouth and in displeasure to the service my waiter wasn't tipped. His tip is in the details and the lack of them, suggest serving atleast 5 tortillas.. I noticed all the servers were men and not chatty, being a driver I eat alone and hardly ever a sit-down place a little banter goes a long way, something waitresses seem to be good at just an idea, get a few? The washrooms were well stalked and clean, the problem is they were built for 5ft tall people the sinks were so low I thought I was supposed to wash my genitalia, obviously I didn't but the sink was that low... I'm 6ft 3 and even a 6ft person would notice how low they are men's.. 3.5 stars is what I would give the place on a big picture returning customer review and I'll be back, I enjoy the food, and the salsa ain't half bad, not to mention the parking next door is normally quiet. Big truck or camper friendly no need for the pilot. 15 trucks In here easily unless you get a swift parked all swifty... Thanks again!"
"We stopped in for lunch during our fall break. We had made a commitment to only eat at "no chain" restaurants. #eatlocal#smallbusiness. Glad we stopped here. The marinated chicken burrito was TO DIE For. Oh so good. Chips and salsa were great. Salsa was fresh and delightful. Service was perfect. Would recommend"
