Progressive Insurance - Claims Office

"The absolute worse insurance you can possibly get. For 3 months I’ve had to pay on a totaled vehicle because progressive continues to lie, have no communication with ANYONE, and refuses to do their job. I’ve had to do their job basically through the entire process. So if you wish to do their job on top of your own responsibility this is the perfect insurance company for you, otherwise stay far away from them."

"I've been a customer for years, diamond member status, with coverage for home and auto. I never had an issue, until I did. Meaning, I went to progressive because they where reasonably priced in todays market. Home coverage was high, but they covered my wind and hail where many companies would not due to the location of my home (hurricanes). When my car was stolen, they were quick to gather the information they needed to satisfy their requirements. They do not look out for the customer. It's been three weeks and although I pay for rental car coverage, I've heard nothing and have inquired daily. They haven't reached out to help me at all. I've had to depend on friends to get to work. My vehicle was totalled and I'm having to pay for a vehicle because there is no settlement in sight(bank). I also paid the premium this month for a car that can't be driven. These words and this description serves no justice to the disappointment in this company. This experience is much worse than this review"

"Do not deal with Progressive. My daughter-in-law had an accident in early September of 2023. She's yet to get a response from their agent. She has left numerous of voice messages and still no response. She has been without a vehicle for over a month and no one at Progressive will call her back or seems to care."

"I was paying $700 every 6 months for full coverage insurance. Came time to renew and I wanted to drop my 13 yr old truck down to liability only since it's old with a lot of miles and paid off in full. I was informed by progressive that liability would be $750 dollars every 6 months. I've had No tickets. No wrecks. No insurance claims what-so-ever. But yet liability is going to cost me more than full coverage? Goodbye progressive! You are hands down the worst insurance company out there!"
