"If you absolutely have to use Alfa for your insurance, do not go thru this agency!! My late wife was friends with Holly Vines for years and we had our car and home insurance thru her. Our house was new construction and Alfa wanted pictures of it. Holly was supposed to do that but blew it off to the point that she asked our neice, who Holly also knew and who lives 1 hour away, to come and take the pictures for her. When my wife passed away in late 2022, I sold her old wheelchair van. It was weeks before I bought another vehicle. When I did, I insured it thru her. When renewal time came around, my rates had gone up, even though I had no tickets, accidents or claims. When I asked why, they reported me as having a lapse in coverage from the time I sold the old vehicle and got the new one. I had no vehicle to insure, so how could I possibly have a lapse? This went onto my record and they wouldn't fix the error. I'm still paying more than I should with another company because they screwed up and won't fix it. And Holly Vines has never personally returned calls about this. And if that wasn't bad enough, they had the gall to call me back today, 9 months later, and ask if they could re-quote me for a new policy. I sternly told them no! If you must use Alfa, don't go thru Holly Vines."
