"don't work here. at all. it is not worth it. it is not worth nearly falling off ladders/falling off ladders for 8.25 an hour. they give you a ladder safety video and then the stock room is atrocious. i have fallen off the ladders, i've nearly broken my finger. they rest the ladders on the boxes and the boxes cave in and that's why the boxes look so bad. if i could give this place a 0 star rating i would. they don't even answer the phone for real if customers DO call. this place is literally the worst, the only good thing they going for real was the discount and certain people who worked here, but then they started leaving. just don't work here. even if it's for your first job, there are better places out there that pay way more than just ONE dollar above the federal pay rate."

"Horrible customer service. Felt more like I was an inconvenience to the employees. It was my birthday yesterday and so this afternoon I’d planned on spending a good bit of money here. There are two pair of shoes I’ve been wanting and I used to love coming to journeys to shop. All I can say now is thank goodness for online shopping as I will just order what I want from now on."

"This was the worst experience I ever had. I went into the store to get a pair of timberlands but never got any help. No one greeted me when I entered the store and I stood there in front of the shoes I wanted waiting on someone to approach or ask if I needed help instead the lady working the floor went to the other side of the store and fixed shoes on the table. She then came over near where I was and turned her back to me while I was holding the shoe in my hand and fixed some other shoes on the wall. So I them place the shoe back and left the store I’ll never go I. Journeys in Eastdale mall again from now on I’ll just order what I want"

"Usually i have a great experience whenever I come to Journey's but my last experience wad horrible.went to get a pair of shoes she brought two pair( we live like 70miles from Montgomery) get home she open up her box she has two left shoes. I called back the same day an inform them on what was in her box an ill be back the next day. I couldn't make it that Sunday but we came the following Tuesday,get there they do,y have the match to either shoe. So mow we don't yo ordering shoes now this where the rude employee comes in she already stated that this wasn't her day well she was rude talk to the manager about it. So the shoes her ordered call back Friday just to check on the order she couldn't find her order so she put me on hold (the manager) I was on hold for 30mins before I hung up tried calling back but it was busy guess she forgot I was on hold going to call again today."

"We had the best customer service here. The employees are probably 17-25. But they are the best I’ve seen in a long time. I walked in I was greeted someone tried to help me but I was just looking. I left and came back. Someone different walked up to me to help, I needed it. I asked for two sizes. He didn’t come back until he found the shoe. Which they had but was hidden in the far back. I made my purchase ans was satisfied. Great place! First time here"
