Francia's Formal Affair

They are also the most reasonably priced business around so make sure to go to Francias for all your event, tux and suit needs!!!"

"My fiancé found a beautiful suit from here. Our intention was to purchase but we were informed the only option was rental, so we opted for that. The specific event we wanted it for has had some unfortunate changes and he no longer needed the suit. We called and asked if we would be able to refund our cost minus deposits. ($70 in total deposits, order & rental hold). Around $215 would be the difference. We called and spoke to a young lady who told us she didn’t want to misspeak and to call again the following day and speak with the owner directly. We called today and spoke with a young man who said a refund was not an option, so we asked if we could apply the difference to another suit that was actually available for full purchase. He then said “we have a sign that says no refunds” and that the rule would also cross out being able to apply anything to a different suit. We never got to speak to the owner. Why does this business have deposits if there’s no intention to refund any money you pay in any form? When my fiancé chose to rent the suit he was told he could just do the deposit or he could go ahead and pay in full, it was never mentioned that if anything changes he could not get his money back. This rule is also nowhere on their website. It’s confusing business practice because if we had not paid in full and just paid the deposit they would not be getting the other money regardless. Essentially we are penalized for paying in full weeks before. If more of their suits were just available for right out purchase this would save a lot of headache. At least then we could have just had it in the event something else came up."
