Office Depot

"This location is convenient for me. The art supply section was barely stocked; most items were either out of stock or down to one or two items. Sketchbooks were either shopworn or the wrong size for my purposes. I found three of the seven items on my list. I get it; Office Max/Office Depot is not an art supply Mecca. Still, I was disappointed although I did get a good buy on a kneaded eraser. The clerk, rather than inquire if I was a “rewards” customer began by asking my phone number. Okay, that should have flagged my rewards status, but then she asked for my email. Remember, I already don’t have what I wanted to buy and just want to pay and leave, maybe stop off at another “not art shop” to look for my other items. When I inquired about the questions, she let me know she was signing me up for rewards. I told her I was already enrolled. At that point, she reentered my phone number and found my account. She was quite pleasant, but should have been trained to asked if I was a rewards customer. Given the lack of inventory and the checkout experience, location convenience is now secondary. By the way, I am only posting a review on Google because the OM/OD review site asked me to do so. If OM/OD has an algorithm to identify best reviews, it did not work for my review."

"Had to come to this Office Depot to get signature stamps for three attorneys (we needed two stamps for each attorney) because the stamp machine was down at the one by our office. I have to say I am very please with my experience. Shana was the one who helped me and she was amazing! She got all six of them done while I was in the store! I was so glad I didn’t have to come all the way back from South Parkway to pick them up later. I would highly recommend this location."

"I went in to get something and had to use the restroom. This was disgusting, I was afraid to touch anything. The floors outside leading to the restroom was so filthy. This place is very dirty and not a safe place to come. Will never comeback. This is why people order online. No one wants to work and do the cleaning that need to be done."

"Cashier was extremely welcoming and gracious. I will be back. Tip to other retailers: the way you treat your customers matters. Treat them like you would want to be treated. Kindness goes a long way. Aka "do unto others as you would have them do to you." I read that somewhere?! The Bible perhaps?"

"Why are retail Box stores dying.. 2 trips in the past 2 weeks, walked up and down every aisle, passing the same 3 employees multiple times [excess of 25min]. Not one time did any of those employees ever asked me if I was looking for something or if I needed any assistance. One was dancing near the exit door and I made it easy to reflect myself as a confused lost customer as I walked around and finally departed... Appearance concerns? 1st trip Khaki pants w/pollo; 2nd trip suit and tie. Where's the concern of losing a sale? My 2nd trip I just put down my potential purchase and decides to buy online from other sources."
