"The fact you have to pay to use the dog park and enjoy with your dog. I think it’s outrageous, especially since how it’s so small that they can’t even really enjoy it. Save your money and just take your dogs for a walk."
"Went here and found out you need to pay 50 $ for a key card. Then you have to pay another 200 for booster shots just so your dog can play in a very small park for dogs."
"This was a nice dog park until this year. Now they no longer accept non residents. There was never a large group of people there at one time and most times we went, we were the only ones there. I wouldn't have minded paying a non resident fee, but that isn't offered. Now we have no where local to take our fido for his much needed exercise. It is a shame."
"My pup and I went here 4-7 times a week for almost five years. Wonderful space for running and a separate area for small dogs. They no longer allow people and dogs from out of Brownstown Township, so we can no longer utilize it. It doesn't get maintained as frequently as it should be, watch out for droppings that many dog owners "forget"."
"I like the layout of the Brownstown dog park except for the big rocks that my "clumsy while playing with other dogs" Labrador Retriever ran into at full speed. She was OK but I have heard of other dogs being severly injured from running into the sharp, large rocks throughout the Dog Park. Removing them would be a great idea? I would recommend insisting that users pick up their dogs mess better as well as fill in all of the very deep holes their dogs "Dig Up". Everybody needs to help keep the park clean or else we all lose!"
