"This used to be my fav park... they have cut down so many trees all over the park it now looks horrible! No plans to replant either it looks ugly now and is so sad because it was so pretty before they cut down all those trees!!!"
"I love this park! Quite and peaceful. Has a nice walking/running/bike path."
"A wonderful place to take a walk and enjoy nature. This park is an International Flyway for migrating birds, a great place to birdwatch. Very nice for the whole family."
"Very nice, well kept park. I imagine it is quite busy when the water park is open. It's closed for the season, so it's a great opportunity to take advantage of a park with great water views and minimal crowds. Lots of seats near the shoreline. Hope to try to get back to check out a sunrise. Some fishing spots, but not sure how good they are. Heard a few guys saying they were targeting catfish, but no luck that day."
"Incredible park perfect for a day visit. You can fish, bike, relax and have a bbq… there is so much to do and there is always so many beautiful views of the lake. There is tons of wildlife too see, including Luc the rescued bald eagle! It is great for a family outing. There are barbecues, bathrooms and electrical outlets in the park. SO worth the money!"
