"Not a bad place for dinner. Good assortment of pizzas and sandwiches. Went on a Thursday night when they had live music. I would recommend turning the volume down on the musician in the future..."
"My husband works near here and goes here frequently for lunch. I’d been wanting to try it so I called in a take out order for dinner. The person that answered the phone was friendly and courteous. My husband picked up the order at our scheduled time when he got off work. They had our food hot and ready. We didn’t care for the fries that came with the Italian Meatball Sandwich. They were extremely over seasoned. The sandwich itself was delicious though. We split it and also shared the Italian pizza and had plenty of leftovers. The pizza was delicious and fresh. Overall, we enjoyed it. Update: Finally got to go in person and dine in. Had the caprese grilled chicken with sweet potato fries and my hubby had the burger. Very fresh and good quality. Delicious! I had the Tidwell Cocktail with sugar rim and it was very good. There was a problem with my husband’s order and they fixed it with no fuss and gave us a free dessert (cheesecake). Karen was our server and she did an amazing job. Will definitely be back. Update: Went back again and had dinner this time. The gyro bowl with beef and lamb was delicious. Best tomato basil soup I’ve ever had! My husband had the chicken pasta and it was amazing. We shared the mozzarella sticks for an appetizer. They were tender and tasty. The sauce was unique but delicious. The blueberry margarita was the perfect cocktail for a Friday night. Very refreshing!"
"This is one of our favorites. Very conveniently located to Chelsea and Hoover and Inverness and Vestavia, it’s an affordable Italian restaurant with high-quality food. The service is really good, everything on the menu is great, the place is beautiful, it’s just loud. I understand that it’s hard to dampen the noise at a restaurant, especially a popular restaurant, but it’s just something that takes away from perfection at this particular spot. We will continue to come here and continue to praise the food and service, and even prices, the volume level just had to be addressed.our party had pizza and eggplant casserole, and Caesar salad and bread pudding, All of which were fantastic. Our server did a great job keeping up with our drinks and making sure we had everything we needed. Great experience!"
"First time to dine here. We arrived a little before 6 on a Friday night. Glad we did because business picked up at 6 for sure. The service was excellent and the food was very good. Happy hour is until 6 for those of you that like to take advantage of the early bird specials. We had the mozzarella sticks and chicken parm, and shrimp and grits. All very good. Of you haven't tried this place, it's worth a try for sure."
"Outstanding place! Delicious food and great service. Came strictly because of the reviews and I hesitated to go because it was farther down 280 than I wanted to go but I am glad we didn’t turn around. I would agree that this is a hidden gem and I am glad to give them a 5 star especially on how they treated the table next to us. We had no issues with our order but the table next to us did and they did everything to make it right and went way above and beyond in a way I’ve never seen. Their food was under cooked and they were going to leave and they pulled out the true customer service card that no one uses anymore and offered to make them something else on the house. The other table stayed longer than we did enjoy the delicious second meal and became extremely satisfied. I was impressed all around with our meal and then to watch them correct a mess up like this was truly remarkable. This restaurant has it all. Great food and the ancient tried and true customer service still remains here. Definitely a rare breed in the industry and I would highly recommend this place without a doubt."
