Bellini's Ristorante & Bar 6801 Cahaba Valley Road, Birmingham, AL 35242

"This was our second time to Bellini's. The first time, a couple of weeks ago, was wonderful. Service was spot-on as was the food. This time we were seated in the little room to the right of the bar, we were the only table our waiter had in that room so we only saw him twice. He was extremely soft spoken so we couldn't understand anything what he was saying. We ordered appetizers and after he delivered them he never came back to take our dinner order. My husband was so frustrated he just wanted to leave so I had to go find our waiter to get the check. I spoke to manager Jonathan as we were leaving and explained our experience. He was very apologetic and offered to get our entrees or desserts to go. We declined but appreciated the offer. We truly just wanted a nice dining experience, not to-go food. On the positive side, we had drinks at the bar before we were seated and the bartenders were great. I think next time we'll just eat at the bar. The bartenders get 5 stars for service and our waiter gets 1 star."

"We ordered takeout, and the food was tasty. We would have preferred to eat at the establishment, but reservations were needed, and it was booked solid. The next best thing was to order takeout. The pasta is made fresh. For appetizers, we ordered fried calamari and the wood-grilled Caesar to share. The main courses were the Mediterranean chicken and chicken piccata, both of which were awesome. We'll be back to enjoy an evening dining in the restaurant. The restaurant was very clean, as well as the restrooms, which is very important. Nice job, Bellini's!"

"I was excited about the food and my visit that I failed to document my night with more phones. Our server was Joe and he could not be more kind and welcoming. He took care of every need. We had even suggesting drinks off the menu, food choices, and answering questions about different dishes. I had to linguine and meatballs. It was fabulous. The atmosphere was perfect and charming. I’m pleased to know there’s a high-end Italian restaurant in this area that offers a variety of dishes And a large wine and drink selection. I highly recommend this location if anyone who is looking for a simple night out or hosting a large gathering."
