The Purple Onion - Inverness (280)

"First and last time eating here. I placed a call in order. Went to pick it up. It was ready when i get there. The establishment is clean. My food is ready. So I’m excited to dive in. Then things went left. The onion rings and wings looked dry and overcooked. So i asked the cashier if this is how they cooked their onion rings. She said yes because they are frozen. I then ask for extra lemon pepper and salt. To which she seemed to be extremely annoyed. As I’m leaving she proceeds to download the cook on me asking for lemon pepper and salt and about the onion rings. Extremely unprofessional for a split second interaction that wasn’t blown out of proportion. I was not satisfied with the food overall. But it was mostly the interaction that made me feel extremely unwelcome as a potential repeat customer."

"This location is sooooo nice!!! Spotless clean inside and out. Fantastic customer service too!!! The veggie burger never dissapoint!! With a side order of broccoli yum yum!!! So delicious!!!"

"Hidden gem on Hwy 280 for a restaurant with great food and variety of choices. We always love what we try and take advantage of their lunch specials which are really generous for the serving sizes. The cheese fries with paprika and sweet mint tea are our favorites. Service is always fast and the woman at the register is so lovely to us when we stop by. Brings our food to our table and drink refills are free. If you haven’t been in a while you are missing out!"

"On the road and stopped in. We should have kept going. The food looked delicious it wasn’t. My husband had the beef shish kabob he said it tasted like dirty feet and it was tough. I took a couple bites from my falafel wrap and put it down it was not good at all. Very overpriced for the quality. Bathroom was cleanish but everything was broken toilet paper and paper towel dispensers I would not recommend ."

"One of my go to places for Mediterranean food. First time I've tried the Inverness location. Delivery was timely. Baked potato was still hot after a ten mile trip. (There are two closer locations. Not sure why delivery was only available at the Inverness location.) Tabooli salad is delicious and seasoned perfectly. I like that fresh fruit and hummus is included with the large salad. Give them a try."
