EL KAMINO BAY

"(2/25/2024) My fiance, 2 friends, and I just got home from eating here at El Kamino Bay. 1st we arrived and saw no one in sight who worked there. As we walked in a guy told us that the workers were around the corner and that they would be with us soon(There was one other family in the establishment besides us). When we were seated he took our drink orders and brought us chips and salsa. We waited 15 minutes to receive our drink and when we got them we were ready to order and made it known and our waiter just walked off. 10-15 minutes later he came back to take our order. When we ordered we told him what we wanted and didn’t want on our food and had to repeat it three to four times to make sure he understood our order. We waited 30 minutes for our food to come out when there was not a single soul in there. Everyone who had walked in or was there just simply got up and left due to the horrible service. When we received our food everything we had requested to be taken off of the order was on and when we told him he said no problem and took it. 5 minutes later he brought us our exact burritos we had before and had unrolled them and just taken out what we didn’t want after we explicitly said we didn’t want another one. Then we were charged for everything we didn’t order and when we told him he talked to his manager for 10 minutes about and somewhat made it right. I will never return to that establishment. Never have I ever had this bad of an experience anywhere. It is a matter of time until they close the doors. I REPEAT DO NOT GO HERE IT IS NOT WORTH THE TIME OR MONEY!!!"

"Came last night (Friday 2/16) and immediately left. They were very slow (only 4 other tables) but we were told they no longer serve alcohol, which is a new thing because we have been several times over the past few months and have always been able to have a margarita with our dinner. That was a deal breaker for us"

"1st time visit and we really enjoyed it. The food was wonderful and hot when we got it. The service was great. I love the atmosphere and the view. We went on. Friday night and we were the only table in there. We sat by the window and the view of the cars passing by and the water was perfect. It's really pretty inside. Would be great for a large group of people. Plenty of room to sit."

"We had a party of 12 come in for my daughters birthday. We were seated immediately upon arrival, we were even offered extra space to place gifts and offered decorations for the table. The servers were very attentive and sweet. Food was good, margaritas were fabulous. The whole team came out with guitar and sang to her and wished her happy birthday. It was a great experience. We will definitely be back."

"Had a great first time here. I’m not sure what some of these “meh” reviews were about- that was not our experience at all. Our waitress was super sweet and attentive and the food was delicious. We look forward to going back at sunset to take advantage of the awesome views. The beef birria quesadillas were really good and the carne asada was the best we have had at a restaurant in the area. It was well marinated and tender. Would happily drive from Fairhope again to go here because it is 10x better food and atmosphere than others locally…"
