"Did not care for the searing at the door. Was very cold at the door seating. The first booth on the left entering the establishment was very wind blown. Read some reviews before going to eat here. Heard a lot about this Evan fellow, and he had a lot to stand up to. Let me tell you, he did one hell of a job. Service was on point. Atmosphere was.......good for a small steak house. Can tell these guys are trying to work on working the bugs out of their presentation. Overall, happy with the overall feeling of the place. Since something had to take the place of KAI, this is a wonderful choice. I had the 14 oz strip rare broccoli, bake sweet potato. Had two Cowboy fever for my drink it was very tasty. My wife had hamburger steak and gravy and the BEST mashed potatos that I have ever put in my mouth. She also had a house salad with homemade dressing. They also had some really good sweet tea. Heard a lot of mixed reviews about the place. For a place that is local and close without being priced over everyone that doesn't make millions. Everyone should give this place a shot. Maybe even two. Let them work out the kinks and show us what they have to offer. Will definitely visit here again."

"Food: 8/10!! We got the loaded fries for the appetizer between me and my fiancé and they were fantastic, steaks easily took the crown of “best steaks in mobile”. My baked potato was a little undercooked and there just wasn’t anything special about the broccoli or asparagus which is why the food winded up with an 8/10 Service: 9/10! All of our food came out quick, we never had to ask for refills, the server was very efficient at her job and anytime we were done with a plate, she would take it which is something I can always appreciate because no one likes a bunch of dirty dishes on the table while trying to enjoy their dinner. Atmosphere: 7.5/10. The vibe of the place is laid back and is decorated very well, only thing I would do differently when it comes to decorations and atmosphere is fill in some of the empty spaces on the walls. The door was having issues when it came to closing so there was a constant cold draft coming in which wasn’t the greatest but some things are out of your control until you can get the proper equipment to fix it. Overall rating: 8.7. Definitely a new go-to spot for my fiancé and I, we throughly enjoyed our experience and love the fact that we’re also supporting a local business over going to Texas Roadhouse or some of the other big brand steakhouses. Will definitely be coming back again."

"I want to start by saying Evan was fantastic! Will ask for him every time! We ordered drinks (whoever the bartender is, you’re doing great!), an appetizer, and meals for 3 adults & 2 kids! The one complaint I have is one steak had to be sent back because it was very undercooked but it was handled so well and they were happy to fix the issue! The steak and potatoes are absolutely delicious and the pasta is HEAVENLY! This is only the beginning for this small business and I’m so excited to go back for more!"

"The service was good. Everyone was kind, but I was really disappointed in the food. We got something reminiscent of loaded fries and they really tasted like something you’d make at home. My partner and I both asked for medium rare steaks and they both came out pretty burnt. It was serious enough that we had to pull out the A1 sauce but the burnt taste was just too much for me personally. The sides were good but I also think that none of it was made in house. The asparagus tasted like canned asparagus with some lemon on them. All in all, pretty disappointed"
