"Our afternoon cruise was wonderful. Marlee was the best waitress and so attentive to everyone on the VIP deck. We will definitely have to go again!"
"I booked the dinner cruise for my fiancé’s birthday! We had a ball! The band was great! I knew all the songs and sang along with the band. We danced we ate and we drank. We thoroughly enjoyed the flights. I think it’s more bang for your buck. I’m still trying to recover from the champagne. Dinner was flavorful. He really enjoyed it. I would definitely book again."
"The dinner staff was Amazing! Friendly, funny and entertaining. However the entertainment was supposed to be a live band. Band members were sitting on phones with their backs to the floor. There was not a welcoming reception on the top floor where music was set up but only playing radio and not anything from the sitting band. For the price paid to take my staff I could have had a better dinner and entertainment experience elsewhere. Hope that this was a fluke and other cruises have better turnouts. I enjoyed seeing Mobile from the water and think this could be a very fun night out if done correctly."
"Such a fun experience! Really people should do this just for the hell of it or for a first date kinda thing. Or anniversary or birthday or whatever. Jon and crew and all the actors are so fun and REALLY good at their craft! There's a bar on board, they improvise the story and it's just fun for the whole family. Best way to spend a couple of hours. Plus you get to see lots of the state docks etc. go go go go!"
"Excellent scenery and ambiance. Clean, nicely decorated, great service, courteous staff. Today’s cruise only sailed south to the river entrance and then north to where Africa town Bridge was visible and back to dock. The disappointment of the dinner cruise was the food. My impression was they went as cheap as possible and still call it a meal. Website stated meal was a salad, chicken, shrimp, and vegetables, roll, and chef’s choice dessert. We were served a jambalaya which had a good taste but only 4 small slices of sausage, 2 very small hunks of chicken, and 4 tiny shrimp mixed with the rice. Green beans and a white roll were included. It was served luke warm but I understand they had to prepare it off ship so temperature was expected due to the situation. The dessert was served at 30 minutes before return to dock and was a nice looking slice of apple pie with whipped cream. I attempted to take a bite of the pie and realized it was frozen solid. My wife’s pie was frozen too. My wife went and spoke to the server and was told all their pies were purchased commercially and that frozen was how they arrived and there was no way to heat it up and no takeout container to take it home with us and heat and eat later. Overall, we enjoyed the cruise because we were doing it for the cruise scenery, not the dining experience. The cruise is very expensive for what it is when you factor in the meal quality that was well below a normal dining out meal should be and no edible dessert. If it was marketed as a river cruise and not a dinner cruise, I think it would be more accurate advertising because anyone wanting dinner would be sorely disappointed."
