Dickey's Barbecue Pit

"I drive motor coach buses for a living, me and another bus were passing through with 2 buses of college students, headed back to Auburn Alabama from New Orleans. I stopped us all by the shopping area there so that they would have an assortment of food choices. They all kinda flocked to 2 places which meant lines. I walked over to this place to grab a couple of sides, and purchased my coworker a chicken sandwich combo. The staff was nice and friendly, the place was clean. I had baked beans, Mac &Cheese and potato salad, all very tasty. My coworker said his sandwich was AMAZING, and big enough for him to eat off of for lunch and later for dinner."

"They have a lot to choose from so I asked what they recommended and they said the brisket sandwich and fried okra. I am glad I went with what they suggested, I will get the same thing next time and I hope Kurt and Rae are working when I go back, they were very nice and helpful!"

And I ordered 1 combo and it was my first time there but I don't think it should have been like $22+ in cost. My company got a potato and a drink for half that. Food was very good but I'm a bit wary about returning."

"I had the 2 meat plate with pork and beef for dinner Monday about 8:30pm. The roll was doughy, baked potato was not cooked right since it was very hard and only had chives, no bacon bits. Meat was ok but not very hot and no pecan pie was available. The Tingle Dr location is convenient. Only 3 people dined in so not crowded at all."
