"They gave me a bad check for consignment. DO NOT BRING YOUR ITEMS HERE."
"If there was a negative star that would be my choice but oh well. I would not recommend doing business with this company at all. This was my first time working with this company in an attempt to sell two furniture items, a very nice storage ottoman and a power reclining sofa & loveseat set. My initial experience started off pleasant from setting up the pickup to the owner, Pat (actual name is Charles) and one of his associates coming to pickup my items. We both signed a contract before he left my home stating the bottom-line price & the max amount agreed upon for all furniture. I was told that I would receive an email with a code to track my furniture if it sells which never happened. I contacted the store a few days later to f/u on the email and I was told the "system" was down but they would give the owner my message. I never received a call back , waited a day or two and called back again and left another msg with no return call. I later visited the store to speak with the owner about the "code" and I asked to see my furniture. I saw the sofa and loveseat but not the ottoman. I spoke with the owner in the store and he did not see it where it was "placed" . He made several calls to locate said ottoman and was later informed it sold the very next day and to come back on 8/1 to pick up my payment. I also never received a call or email that my item was sold. I came back on 8/1 and then found out it was sold for $60 less than the bottom-line on the contract. I asked why and he said that's what it sold for . I asked him to produce the contract which I also had a digital copy to show and he did not. He became very irritated that I was asking to be paid what was agreed upon. I was then told one of the recliners on my loveseat did not work when they tried to demonstrate to an interested customer. I informed him all recliners and headrests were operational before he left my home. He became very argumentative and then told me he "doesn't need customers like me" . I never raised my voice to this man. He then stated he didn't want my items. I told him that's fine but I'm not taking an item back that was working before it left my home and that we needed to figure something out. I then asked if he checked the connections and he continued to be argumentative. Another associate stepped in to check as I explained how the sofa chairs are supposed to be plugged in . He followed my directions and everything was working perfectly. The owner then "walked off" from me but told someone else to handle it. I was given my money for the ottoman which was $10 over the 60/40 split I would've gotten so I was fine with that and he still never went to get the contract although I had my copy in hand. I also agreed to remove my sofa & loveseat from his store the same week because I did not want to do business with anyone like him. I was then informed by another associate that the real story behind the "mystery" of my missing ottoman was actually that an employee sold it and pocketed the money and the owner found out when running the cameras back. Still not my concern as the customer. I didn't deserve the treatment I received for their oversight, lack of organization, carelessness, and sub-par system in place for checks/balances. Again, my issue is with the owner. I had a pleasant experience with most of the staff I encountered. I also had my sofa & loveseat picked up the very next day. This was only an option I considered using through a recommendation. I only opted the consignment route due to the fact I had new furniture coming in and needed the room. I will just sell it on my own like I started in the beginning. I hope others have a better experience. Sure he may have had an off day but we all have them and it's no excuse for how I was treated. Do better Charles"
"My experience has been horrible!!! Some of my items placed there on a consignment were sold and i wasn't contacted as i was told i would. The items six marching chairs ,two diningroom tables with six chairs each and two matching end tables. They sold five of six chairs couldn't explain why. Then they sold one diningroom table without six chairs. Then they sold other six diningroom chairs and table still there. Now last week i went by and they can't find one of end tables so saying it must be sold. But as with the other items they sold no one knows when it sold or price it sold. The owner Pat thinks he can just give you a number and say thats the price it sold. I don't think this type of business will sit well with the CPA."
"We had a very pleasant experience at this consignment store. The employees are very helpful and nice. Terrell helped us to find a couch in our price range. We ended up leaving with a couch that we absolutely love. Just bought a couch cover to keep it looking nice since it is cream colored. We will be back to purchase anything else we are looking for."
