Eighteen Foot Falls

"Beautiful nature trail! Just a drive up the gravel road, worth the short trip! Got Beautiful photos of the greenery, rocks and the waterfall!"

"Small parking lot at the head of the trail. The trail is fairly rugged, with a lot of ups and downs, tree roots and rocks to climb over. The trail splits halfway to the falls, a lower and upper, but both lead to the same place. The Falls itself is pretty impressive, with a big drop and fast moving water. There isn't a real good viewing spot, other than right on top of the Fall."

"A nice set of falls with a moderate hike out to it. They have updated the entrance and that made more parking and the access is much less steep than years past. Definitely a cool Falls to see in Marinette County! There is a day pass pay pole ($5 a day) available at the entrance to most of the falls and may of the gas stations county wide."

"First off, wear good hiking shoes. Second, begin rigorous training 6 months before you go. Third, bring a friend. And water. And another pair of shoes for when you have to get that perfect shot of the waterfall and the bank you're standing on is less firm that originally anticipated and the tree you thought would hold you turns out to be made of broken dreams and you step in the river. I heard that happens to a lot of people. Seriously though, absolutely gorgeous spot. It is a bit of a hike to get out there though, plan ahead."

"3 or 4 stars but I did 4 because I hope if you follow the path there are more. The falls seen are nice but not accessible for a good view or pictures. Maybe with a selfish stick stuck out over the water? But I'd be afraid I'd drop it. Lol. Most of the moderate path is fine and dandy, with a couple rugged spots and one where you really need to watch your footing you cannot go if you have balance or leg/knee issues. There is one outhouse in the parking area."
