"I had called DTE about furnace issues, this company came out, told me what was wrong, explained my options. They called prior to the appointment to let me know they were coming. Called March 13th to get an appt to get the new furnace, figured a two week wait, but was able to get in the same week, they called before getting here and got here earlier than expected. They were extremely polite, cleaned up their mess and explained everything to me. Would highly recommend them in the future!"
"They called and let me know they were on their way. They were on time and realized the problem right away. My motor had locked up and needed to be replaced. He was friendly and very informative. It took hardly no time to replace the motor and I had heat. Great company!"
"Buyer beware. Can't keep appointments. No communication. Denies any responsibility. Called Consumers Energy Appliance Service Plan for a repair on our furnace. A technician from HVAC Pros was sent out to diagnose the problem. The technician diagnosed the problem and indicated parts were necessary. He would order them and they would be there in 1-3 business days. Three business days came and went, no call. On the fourth business day, the following week Monday, I called his cell to get a timeline. No answer and the voicemail was full so I could not leave a message. I called the next day, Tuesday, to get an update and, again, no answer, voicemail still full. I then sent a text to the technician requesting a status update. He later responded that "Sorry was gunna call Just picked up part yesterday. Let me check my route an see what's available for a time. What's your schedule like." I responded with several open times and days. His response, "Ok. Probably be later afternoon evening or tomorrow sometime." My response was, "Today is possible, busy tonight. Tomorrow is also good." In the meantime, I ended up calling the office to schedule and was put on the calendar for the following day, Wednesday between 9 am and 1 pm. Wednesday was the 9th day without heat for my family of 6 with 4 daughters under 11 years old. At 11:40 on Wednesday, I received a call that the technician was running late from the office. After explaining this was unacceptable, and indicating I would have someone else come and fix the issue subsequently sending the bill to HVAC Pros, I asked for the owner who was, not surprisingly, unavailable. I left my name and number for a callback which was received about 25 minutes later. The owner was standoff-ish on the phone, accused me of lying, and not concerned with the fact that we had been without heat for so long. He went on to say "you're not our only job, we have other jobs." He also stated (since I was obviously lying) he would check his technician's phone to make sure I wasn't making up the fact that the technician had not initiated any contact to update me about our repair. The owner then went on to try and hang up on me because he did not like my opinion of the lack of communication and inability to get repairs done in a timely manner. Do not use this company if your time is valuable and you need something accomplished in the time promised. If going without a service for 9+ days is good for you, this company has you covered. Response to the condescending owner: I did call the office to schedule. If not, I would have waited another few days/weeks for heat. My reason for calling the technician? That was the only phone number we were provided. We did all the communicating, there was none from your company. You were not spoken to rudely. The fact that your company can not keep up with the workload is factual and not rude. The fact that your feelings were hurt does not mean its not true and does not make the comments rude. If communication were kept up, or in this case attempted at all, we would have known there was a delay in parts, but, as already noted, no communication was provided by anyone from HVAC Pros. Tough to understand these things (parts delay) when they are not shared. I find it really ironic that when I, again, initiated communication via a text (the only way any communication was made by HVAC Pros until my complaints), all of a sudden the parts were miraculously available. The text your technician sent me (you know, communicating through the office like you indicate should be done), said the parts had been there the prior day. Furthermore, we were very patient while waiting 9 days for heat, the problem was your company kept putting us off. Every scheduling, outside of the initial scheduling, was not upheld on your end, even with multi-hour blocks of time. Going forward, we will definitely avoid HVAC Pros unless we want to wait for service for several weeks."
"I called Consumers to have our A/C looked at because it wasn't running very cold. We have an appliance service plan through them. I called right before Memorial Day weekend. Mark, from HVAC Pro, came out on Saturday during the holiday weekend. He was very nice, professional and knowledgeable. He looked at the furnace, condenser, thermostat and pump. I asked him a lot of questions while he was working and he was very patient with answering all of them. He explained everything he was doing and what all the parts were and what each part did. He said the unit was a little low on freon so he recharged it. I could tell, just from talking to him, that he really liked what he was doing and he liked helping people. I will request this company the next time I need HVAC work and I'll definitely recommend them to friends and family."
"I had my furnace go out yesterday and called DTE to set something up since I'm covered through them. They sent out Steve Luallen from HVAC PRO LLC. The appointment was for between 12pm and 4pm today but he called at 11am and asked if it was a good time and came in and got it up and running by 1130 am. The draft motor went bad and he had a part in his van since it was a common part that was used by a lot of furnaces in my case (might not always be that way). I appreciate the response time and the work done. Can't comment on pricing since i was covered through DTE."
