"We went with this company for water damage and initially had a great experience, especially with Christyan, the project manager. He was kind, comforting, knowledgeable and responsive. He also explained the situation without sugar coating anything. We had planned to also use them for restoration, but will no longer be doing so in light of the following reasons: They never followed up with securing the temporary sink they installed, and the pipe popped open, pouring water into our basement and dousing our furnace. They did get someone out from an HVAC company to make sure the furnace was safe to use once it was dried out so we appreciated the quick response to the safety concern. It should never have happened however, and we should not have had to go without heat on a 45 degree night, especially when we have young children. When they pulled out all the water damaged items, they left ALL the nails sticking out of the walls and the floor. My husband stepped on one, and one also stuck him in the face when we were trying to deal with the pipe issue. Management assured me they’d be sending someone out today at 9:30 am to secure the sink and take care of the nails. I waited around and have heard from no one. It’s now about 12:00pm. Additionally, we were told there was no time frame of when a restoration estimate could be completed, but they wanted us to sign a work agreement anyway. I understand they don’t want to waste time writing an estimate, but my time is also valuable and I wouldn’t want to sign a work agreement and then have to wait an indefinite amount of time for an estimate when my kitchen and bathroom have already been torn up for weeks."
