"The Saturday classes are awesome. We come all the way from Holland to attend them. And the services you provide to the community are amazing. Keep up the great work!"
"early 2022 I apply. for help at HRS after trying to borrow money many places, income to low they said so I decide to try HRS that after I try places that they suppose to help the community with no luck. so after several phone calls and several months home check ups man came and took pictures and told me what was going to be done my home is 120 tear old need repairs but the intake person did not know any thing about it that after 19 months then plumber named mark call me on 3/29/23 to do repairs that day the city was doing.small job in the basement the plumber told me call him when it was done so I did call and leave messages to the plumber and the check ups man Art between june 2 and june 22 no one call back then I called one more time the intake her name is liz I think she said I will have the manager of operations call me well about 3 weeks now no calls, I try to get records and denial of service letter from the intake lady can not find my records, this company get funding fro the city, state and the federal government so wath is the problem??,racism service some people only??the way I have been treaty I can not see it any other way, totally ignore. somehow I will fix my home.HUD will Help"
"Seems like everytime I try to get help there's always a issue. Got a water heater and making payments on it and BUTTTT my furnace that's paid for can't be serviced until the water heaters paid off. So thanks for the help. In the meantime my grandkids and me are pretty cold in here. So to get help you have to be put through some intimidation, and made to feel hopeless and humiliation. Go h.r.s Stay warm......."
"In the past four months, every faucet in my 50+ year old home has sprung a leak. Not only did Mark from HRS fix the leaks, he went the extra mile and replaced each of the facuets. And in his last visit, he even installed individual shutoff valves on my bathroom sink (which he did without being asked to do so). Because of my income level, the cost of all three services (icluding equipment) was less than the cost of a single visit from a commercial plumber. Thank you HRS. And, especially, thank you, Mark. You're a gem."
