"Great place for a Halloween themed wedding! As long as it's a pretty small group."
"What a little hidden gem of a place. If your into a more laid back country wedding or need a place for a family reunion. Fallasburg park Pavillion is the place for it. The Pavillion has huge ceilings and the entire place opens up on every side to a beautiful walk around porch! Great views and awesome wedding picture scenery. You can rent the place for a fraction of the cost of other venues. Send the youngsters off to the playground that's a bit away from the pavillion. Still in plain sight but far enough not to have them interrupting the special day. I will be returning there for sure! The kitchen is a little run down so if you are serving food have means to keep it stored to temp. They do have a fridge and oven and hot water."
"The park and venue are beautiful. A great place to have an event, but do it during the day. My 2 stars are based on the policies enforced. I've been a performing musician for 23 years and recently started supplying equipment for events, so I tend to look at venues more from the perspective of someone who has to work at them. 1.) The lodge is set up like a cafeteria. Long wooden tables in rows, so if you're having an event with a dance floor, like a wedding, you'll have to get there very early to move things around to your liking. They will not help you with this. 2.) Related to no. 1, you can NOT remove anything from the lodge. All those tables have to stay in....This is EXTREMELY annoying. Horrible rule. We had to constantly change our plans on the fly to accommodate for this. This is especially bad for bands and food service. We had a very difficult time with this. 3.) The lodge MUST be put back exactly the way it was and everyone out of the building by 10PM. To the staff: please consider changing this to midnight. There were only 4 of us to set up our event and it took us all day....It took us about an hour and a half to tear down and put everything back which means we had to stop the party at 8:30!!! - Kind-of a buzzkill. I guess if you have a lot of hands helping you, you could probably get this task done quicker, but again that's on YOU. 4.) Some of the staff were very annoying and kept coming around to constantly remind us we had to be out by 10. We know. During what little of the party we could actually have, it was nice, but my advice to anyone looking at this venue for an event with the rules they currently have in place, have your event in the afternoon."
"The pavilion, in Fallasburg Park, is set on a hill overlooking the Flat River and a creek. It has a beautiful stone fireplace. There is a spacious porch on 3 sides with picnic tables. There is a kitchen and bathrooms. There are picnic tables that easily seated 100 inside. There is a large parking area with handicapped parking and access to the building and a road down to the area that the waters converge. There are large trees and well landscaped trees and bushes."
"Amazing location for a wedding. River runs right around a huge maple. The enclosed shelter was nice, though somebody said you're not supposed to open the doors and windows? Still a nice place."
