"The leaves were very pretty there so full of color. Use to come here all the time with family for cookouts. It's been some years since I've been tho and there was some changes and looked to be under going construction with the playground that use to be there which currently there is nothing but looks like possibly putting a new one in. Will see next year."
"Nice covered bridge to check out. Picnic area riverside. Nice spot to fish."
"Beautiful park/area to enjoy the outdoors. Wonderful river runs along the park. Covered Bridge just a short distance away. Play area for the kiddos."
"Very pleasant and cute little area. It's longer than it is wide. One area has a little playground area when you keep driving you find several little picnic spots. They have picnic tables and grills. They also have a very cute covered bridge that you can walk on if you want but watch out for cars. It's next to the river so the whole area is quite scenic. Also after we drove over the bridge we found these historic old homes that have signs in their front yard telling you when they were built and what they were used for. We did this in September and so there was some fall color starting and it was definitely very lovely. We will go back in the summer and have a picnic there I think that would be an awesome picnic spot, plenty of room to play Frisbee as well."
"One of if not my favorite local park in the Kent County area. Flat River is beautiful especially in the fall. Great place for dogs too... all around wonderful place I've made memories now for over 20yrs and I travel a lot and see a lot of Parks in the a state and and nationally and I still return here frequently."
