"I'm a little late on my review BUT if you are looking for great fishing and great people these 2 men have you covered! We came from IN for my husband's 40th birthday in May this is something he's always wanted to do. The smile that was on his face as he got off the boat was priceless. The salmon he caught were amazing!! I couldn't thank them enough for making his first experience so wonderful! Before they even started cleaning the salmon he booked another trip for the end of August. He also talked about it for days on end!! Can't wait to see you guys again soon!!"

"Update 5/20/21 - This is an additional review after our 2nd outing with Freestyle Charters. The original review from last year is below. My wife and I went out with Capt. George and his Mate, Seth on 5/20/21 again a year after our 1st trip with him. Another outstanding outing aboard Freestyle. I can't say enough about the great time we have fishing with them. The boat is very, very clean and organized. Nothing but the best gear and tackle to be found. And the best part is we got on fish early and often. We had a 4 person limit in about 3 hours, again. If there is a better boat in Ludington to go out on I don't care because my next charter will be on Freestyle. Thanks again, guys! I rarely use the word "perfect" to describe anything but our day on the water with George Freeman and his First Mate, Seth was exactly that - Perfect! My wife and I celebrated our anniversary in May but with all the pandemic disruptions we had to delay and booked a charter with Free Style Charters for June 19th, 2020. My communication with George prior to our outing was very good. He was very patient with my questions and calls and very clear in his plan and expectations. I will confess that I am a difficult person to please at times and I do expect an outfit to work hard for my money and time so bear that in mind as you read this review. We arrived at the dock the morning of our trip to find the Freestyle absolutely immaculate. Everything was spotless and all the gear was stowed out of the way. The boat is set up beautifully. It is immediately apparent that George has put lots of thought and attention to every detail of his vessel. His safety briefing shortly after we came aboard was clear and we quickly motored out to the fishing grounds outside of Ludington. His First Mate, Seth did a great job all day. His enthusiasm for fishing and experience was obvious. My wife and I really enjoyed fishing and talking with him. We barely had a few lines in the water and started catching fish right away. I have been on a few charters with other outfits prior to our day with George and I was used to the Captain mostly staying in the wheel house piloting the boat while the First Mate did all the work setting lines and netting fish. Not this time! Both these guys worked hard all day. The fishing action was fast and furious. In a few hours we had our limit and even had to release a few as we were pulling our lines. Due to the experienced hands of George and Seth we did not lose a single fish. After we motored back into port our catch was professionally filleted, rinsed and bagged. It was just a GREAT day from start to finish. If you are considering a charter out of Ludington that will exceed your expectations then you really need to go with Free Style Charters. I know we will be back fishing with these guys again and again. Thank you very, very much George and Seth for a day that we will remember! You guys are awesome!!!"

"I've been on a dozen fishing charters and this one is always the best. Captain George and his first mate work tirelessly to ensure you come home with a full cooler. Radio chatter spoke of quiet lines, but we stayed busy all morning! If a lure wasn't working, the crew were on it, swapping it out for something else until it'd hit. Class act and highly recommended."
