"Damon is great to work with. Easy booking, easy check-in and check-out. The property is perfect for a large group of golfers. Right on the river, huge campfire pit, open spaces for cornhole, etc. All around great place. We will be back for our third year in 2024!"

"This resort exceeded all of my expectations! The cabins are very clean and organized. The owner, Damon was extremely accommodating and helpful. We stayed in a cabin and also tent camped. "We decided to make a last minute trip to the Traverse City area during the Color Tour. We didn't realize how difficult it would be to find a reasonable place to stay in what we thought was the off season. We literally tripped across this amazing value and they had a cabin available for our stay. In fact, because of our first impressions, we extended our stay. We were greeted by Zach who got us set up in a great little cabin. While the cabins are quite old, they are doing a great job updating them with new bathrooms and amenities. We were surprised to find a great wifi signal, new efficiency appliances and even premium cable! The most important thing to us was the bed comfort and bath towels. We were not disappointed. Recently we stayed in moderately priced hotels with beds not nearly as comfortable and thin, worthless towels. The beds and linens exceeded our expectations in our cabin. The property is on the Platte River and you can even go tubing, kayaking or canoeing. Zach or his parents will take you upstream and drop you off for the trip back to the cabins. There is even fresh coffee (with real half and half!) every morning just outside the cabins. The location is perfect as it is just a short drive into Traverse City, Honor, Beulah, Sleeping Bear Dunes, etc. If you are looking for a great place to spend a few days to enjoy the beauty of Northwestern Michigan, you will not be disappointed. We've tried cabins several times and this has been the most memorable. Thanks Zach!"

"Best place in Honor! They are very clean cabins! Firewood, tubes, kayaks, and canoes were all on hand for our use. They also put a bug barrier spray on the grounds so we had no problem with mosquitoes. We vacationed in all directions from the Platte River Pines. The sleeping bear dunes is close along with Traverse City, Leelanau wine country, multiple golf courses, and plenty of fishing spots. We look forward to three trips a year at the Platte River Pines. Mushroom hunting in the spring, tubing the Platte mid summer, and wine tasting color touring in the fall. Thanks again for being such a clean well run establishment. "By far the best cabin experience you can have in northern Michigan. My husband and I had such a wonderful stay there. The cabins are clean and newly renovated. Owners are very friendly and even set up a bonfire for us during our stay. The cabin is located right on the gorgeous Platte River. Crystal clear water and lots of privacy despite being off the highway. We've been back several times and would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to get away to beautiful north western Michigan!"
