The Cedars Resort

"Spent 4 days here in October with friends for a Straits Area color tour. Our cottage was clean and well maintained. Our hosts, Jason & Cindy Eberly couldn't have been nicer. The Cedars is located 10 minutes south of Mackinaw City and is convenient to Wilderness State Park, Mackinac Island, Cross Village, Harbor Springs/ Petoskey, and Cheboygan. I can recommend the Cedars as a great place to stay in the Straits Area. We'll be back next fall."

"The owners very kindly found us two cabins when our booked property fell through at the last minute. Comfortable, lovely position near the lake and loads of boating options. Very friendly owners and about 8 miles from Macanaw City and the ferry to Macanac Islsnd makes this an ideal place to stay to relax or visit around the area."

"We rented here for the 1st time a few weeks ago. The "Birch", the newest and largest cabin was Absolutely beautiful! To wake up in a clean queen size bed with a door wall facing the lake was amazing. We had just lost our dog of 15 yrs a few days prior to staying here and I believe our Angel sent Duke to ease our pain. He was so friendly and comical that we all fell in love with him. He certainly is missed by us! I would highly recommend this resort, very nice owners, cabins spaced graciously apart for privacy, all (3) facing the lake have their own decks (ours was huge) and was the "perfect" get away. Needless to say we have a pretty well stocked freezer of fish caught by my son and husband. I wish we could have spent more than a week. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!Thank you Jason and Cindy!"
