"My tour was awesome. Chris is amazing, charismatic, kind, and the property was impressive. I Love the clubhouse and the floor plans for the prices it’s great for the area. The grounds were also very clean. Thank you for your warmth and consideration. I’d send someone to this property if they were looking for sure!"
"Please consider this. If you have children, especially. Do not live here. Heavy drug use occurs at all times. I currently live in Prentiss Pointe Apartments. I regularly, DAILY, have to endure the smell of smoke and marijuana in the hallways. I have a 5 month old son. It irritates me to no end having to deal with that every day. They don't and won't do anything about it. It's disgusting. I am a single mom. I had to move here because my parents live 1 street over and I needed the help. I moved from out of state so I didn't get a chance to actually look at the unit. My mom did A LOT of work to finish cleaning what they did not clean prior to my arrival. Still... the condition is pretty bad for what they charge. Let's now get in to the condition of the units. When my unit was flipped over, it was slapped together. I have been here a few months and I just recently found painters tape that was left on the window ledge and painted over. Paint on the doors. No ventilation in the bathrooms so I am sure there's mold. Cupboards that fall off the hinge. Leasing / money grab: After specifically signing a short-term lease for the flexibility, the company decides to arbitrarily increase the short-term lease renewal by over 50%. That's right. I pay a short term rental fee of $32. If I wan to continue short-term, it's a $100 more. Month-to-month? $200 more. So continuing on a 6mo lease is going to be significantly more than half the "fee" than I currently pay. They must have been desperate to get someone in the unit before, so I do know it is in their control to set these "fees". Want to sign for 12mo - great, your rent is going to be LESS than what you currently pay. I am a single mom trying to get a new job out of state. My options are 1) pay significantly more money for a short term lease or 2) pay less than what I am paying now for a 12mo lease, but if I do need to leave for a new job I have to find a sublet within 30 days OR pay a buyout fee which is 3x the rent. I am sharing this info to be transparent about how this place operates. They have multiple empty units so they'll sweeten you up to sign a 12mo or to just simply get in the door. And then if you want to renew based on similar flexible terms, they get you for a lot more. I know of 2 vacant units on my floor alone and I can understand why. Most of the appliances are SIGNIFICANTLY outdated. Cheap closet doors. The Hot and Cold caps on my faucets fall off. The washer sounds like its going to break every time I use it. Again... being transparent for anyone who needs a flexible situation and expects to get value for their dollar. Finally... GROSS.... the smoking in-unit situation is just DISGUSTING. Especially when you have kids."
"I hate having to do this, but I feel like I’m left with no choice. Do NOT live here or any building owned by Paragon Properties. I have been dealing with an ongoing hornet problem INSIDE my apartment for over 6 weeks now. I was not able to sleep safely inside my home for over a month. I have killed between 75-100 living hornets in my bedroom, living room, and hallways. Even though the hornets finally went away(no thanks to the office staff), I am still trying to get compensation. Both staffs at Prentiss Pointe and the regional manager of Paragon have been unprofessional. They have lacked communication skills, customer service skills, and any sense of empathy. All they do is make TikToks all day. I have asked numerous times for compensation because I don’t think I should have to pay for an apartment I couldn’t safely live in for 6 weeks. Additionally, I had to pay for my own solutions like hornet traps and RAID when I was still waiting for them to solve the problem. I also asked to move and they told me I had to pay THEM to get out of my apartment that was infested with hornets. Now the regional manager doesn’t pick up my phone calls OR she’ll schedule a phone call with me at a certain time and doesn’t follow through. It has been such a disappointment being treated so poorly when I have been nothing but a good resident for the past 2.5 years."
"Just moved my Mom into Prentiss Pointe apartments. Chelsie, Rebecca and Tonya have been so helpful all the way thru the application and move in process. I love the apartment, it is roomy and open. Very quiet in here too. I don’t hear noise from the other apartments. The grounds, club house, and gym are kept very nice. Looks like a great place to live."
"Quickest maintenance experience. Pleasant and respectable. Bathroom vent stopped working. He fixed it and it took about 20-30 mins. He called before coming to make sure I was awake. Came in a reasonable time. Very nice and humorous personality. Thankyou."
