"I was able to book an apt for a night and it was so convenient, safe and affordable. Furnishings are simple, kitchen supplies limited, bath towels and dish towel provided, the beds were clean and comfortable. We unexpectedly had to stay a second night but the apartments were full as there are limited units. Book ahead if you can. Will now be staying for the next several weeks at a minimum, and am thrilled they provide these for family. Hospital is very short walk away and everything is well lit. The staff at the counter are extremely helpful There is a permit for one car, but additional free parking a short walk away. The nearby St Regis hotel charged Henry Ford Rates of $119 plus taxes AND $20 parking . It has no fridge, no microwave no clock or clock radio, no ice machines (had to bring ice bucket to bar), hair dryer available on shelf, BUT it is supposed to be a wall mount so it was awkward to use. There was loose paint on the ceiling, and many scratches on the wall in the hallway. Shower was a little loud. Coffee machine in the room had two single-cup flavored. No coffee in the lobby."
"These apartments are truly wonderful. My husband and I have stayed here 3 times so far. Such a relief to know we do not have to fight rush hour traffic to make appts! Super clean and cozy!!"
"The staff was amazing. They were kind, respectful, and helpful. I felt comfortable and secure while staying here nearly 2 months while my husband was in ICU. A big plus is that it’s a short walk of 100 steps to the back entrance near the cafeteria."
"Not being from Detroit and not knowing the city very well. This place was perfect for our needs. Just a walk to the hospital. It was good to have a working kitchen with dishes and pans. A dishwasher. Full size refrigerator and stove. The one bedroom we had, had plenty of room. The parking lot right next to the building was convenient. Secure entry into the building. Having a laundry room inside the building was very helpful. The staff were all very kind and understanding. Happy to answer any questions you may have and happy to help with anything you many need. I was able to extend my stay as some medical complications had happen and we needed to be there longer then we had expected. It is not shinny and new but very clean and does what it is suppose to do. I would highly recommend."
"Rosemary is truly an angel. She thought of everything I might need while my family was going through a very difficult time when my daughter was in the ICU. Apartments were very clean, well-appointed, and I always felt very safe here. Laundry facilities were clean and machines worked well. This lodging is exactly what you need when you can't think of anything except the care of your loved one. Thank you, Rosemary, from the bottom of my heart!"
