"I've lived here for a little over 2 years now- its not the worst but it's not great either. A huge issue I've had is the lack of a/c. They put window units in the upstairs bedroom but they literally don't work- I've had it replaced twice thinking it must be the unit, but its just terrible quality and does not cool anything down, not even the upstairs. It's also incredibly loud when turned on. I had to purchase a portable unit on my own which worked much better. I didn't need matinenance much which I suppose is a good thing, but I've had a couple of weird encounters including one of their maintenance men walking into my apartment unannounced...I had no pants on. As a single female it was pretty uncomfortable, but they never did anything further to concern me and they were nice enough. I've been lucky with a few of my neighbors, but there are evictions every other week it feels like and you'll hear a LOT of fighting. It's not unusual to see police around. They have designated dog only areas, but they aren't enforced. Even if you live in a no dog area, many residents still keep them- my neighbor has a whole husky. I don't mind dogs, but I didn't want the barking which is why I chose this area initially. The monthly rent is too high when compared to other similar apartments. I pay 1245/month for a 2 bed 1 bath. Don't bother paying month to month, they still require a 45 day notice so you may as well do a three month lease and save some money. They don't do credit checks here which I would assume is why they have such a high turnover, it's easy to get approved but the monthly rate is too high. If you have the credit, you would be better off renting a small house for the same price. You have no control over your own heat, they have a thermostat but the little lever on the bottom is just for show- you can't actually adjust it. I constantly want to turn my heat off but I can't, so I continue to use a portable ac in the winter at times. Cold water is oddly, non existent. You have all the hot water in the world, but there is no way to make it come out of the faucet cold. Washer and dryer are incredibly loud, but that's expected with how small the downstairs is. And ants are regular visitors in the kitchen, no matter how well you clean. With some adjustments though I was able to make it comfortable enough for me to continue staying here for two years. It just makes financial sense to move somewhere better for cheaper at this point."
"I have lived at these apartments for the last 4 years. The staff from the licensing office to the maintenance have been exceptional and great with communication. I look forward to many more years living here! : )"
"This place has been pretty good to me , besides having a noisy neighbor to the left of me , maintenance comes quick and the leasing office always gets back to me in a timely manner . They also do great at working with you. It’s close to a lot of stores and my neighbors mind their business . Never had packages stolen or anything ."
"Been here for 3 months now. I put in a maintenance request and they came the next day ! It was my AC unit that went out, they ordered a brand new one and we're able to install it within hrs. Great place to live."
"Lived in Georgetown almost 4 years. It’s spacious for my family of three. It’s in the Fraser school district and my daughter is able to catch bus which is a major plus. Maintenance always come when contacted and fix the problem. Office staff responds in great time. Our lawn is kept up great. They are very good with accommodations. The only downside I wish it had a playscape."
