"I have had only 1 phone call returned to me out of 50 or more over 2 years. Asked for service over a week ago and was told to call maintenance person. Never got a call back and he has never been here. The day after I left the message Emerald removed it as having been taken care of and it still hasn’t. The service here is HORRIBLE!!!!!"
"I have been living at Preston Pointe since 06/22/2015 in the same Unit. When I first moved in the everything ran as it should have from the office to the community but after the 4th year. We started having to experiment with several different Managers, office representatives, and Maintenance Men, that came along with lawn care personal who wasn’t very good at keeping the grounds manicured properly. The pool was closed most of the time after the first 4 years. But between the last 3 years till about 6 months ago we had been charged for regular maintenance issues that happen over time which was no fault of ours. The office was closed most of the time with staff housed in the office not answering the phones with doors locked for days on in. Garbages at the office desk was over flowing with trash when they did decide to open. I’ve never been late with my rent but once and they had my balance in the thousands behind. But I kept all my receipts that I wrote with checks. For a while it felt like prison living here knowing we have to have a home for ourselves and our children. I stopped going and calling the office it was truly no need cause nothing was getting done in the office for a residence point of view. Since the last year things has improved. The office was open and concerns was voiced and listened to. But for the last 6 months for me. When I met Emerald Reyes I had an appointment in the office regarding renewing my lease she was helping Laura get things in sharp and back in order and a lot of things was badly messed up from paperwork to the apartments not being properly maintenance. Emerald set me down and started going through my file and paperwork and quickly got my balance corrected and apologized for the prior situations that I explained to her that a lot of tenants here have experienced within the past 3 to 4 years prior. I call the office and get a representative whom I can speak with now. I go to the office within the office hours and the office is open. I schedule maintenance issues at home and the maintenance man James comes asap and repair without complaining. Emerald is one persons and theirs only 2 maintenance men working here who are desperately trying to redo all the damage that has been done here over the past 3 to 4 years from managers, staff, and maintenance men who really didn’t care about us as a residence while taking care of our part. Emerald is working and has been working doing several jobs at once to get all the residence files, leases renewed and all other aspects of her job. Unfortunately I don’t think that it’s fair for her to have to deal with the abuse and disrespect that she receives for other terrible managers, staff and old maintenance men that we have had to endure in the past. She’s only one person that has to follow orders from the top person over her. Emerald is catching a lot of disrespect cause the rent went up almost an additional $589 a month for me, which is insane but like I tell other residence I come in contact with. This is not Emerald doing but she has to implement her job orders and unfortunately she is who the residences sees and have to deal with so she receives all the disrespect from some tenants which is not fair to her. Emerald is only one person doing a 5+ women job and I Pray they get her more help with representatives that’s as knowledgeable, direct, and patient as she has been in the horrible situation of rent increase and getting residences balances in order along with maintaining our grounds. A lot of us residence try and stick together and look out for our children and each other. It’s a great place to live once residence get over being mistreated from the past here and open their eyes and see Miss Emerald Reyes is here to help us move forward together"
"The new property manager is very organized and helpful! When she came Preston pointe was a mess that the old manager Laura made and she is getting everything together while working the office alone!!!!! The maintenance man is cool and professional. I hope they both stay with us for a long time."
"The new property manager is very disrespectful I contacted Corporate office multiple times also sent emails No response but I bet channel 4 and channel 2 will respond. I remember she was trying to fight the other property manager Laura in the office. If I was Laura I would’ve press charges for harassment they let a bully come into our complex. They need Laura to come back. Also it’s crazy how they can go up on your rent without a notice. I will be contacting the news also I will be publishing this in my magazine bullies need to be put in their place This will be very good to hear on the radio donkey of the day.We need to vote her out of Preston Pointe BROWNSTOWN OFFICE. And I don’t care if the new property manager read it she know what she be doing."
