"A great college apartment, that doesn’t break the bank. This past semester we entered our second year of leasing at this apartment, and we have personally had a positive experience. We have yet to encounter an issue that cannot be said about any other apartment complex in the area. Touring any unit beforehand is important, and made easy to schedule. We were able to tour our unit, and see how the past residents utilized the space, which made it easier for us to imagine ourselves there, and eventually sign up on our lease! Barnes & Barnes tries to make themselves available for any questions or concerns. Maintenance requests are handled relatively quickly, and the location is in walking distance of the local university, which is very convenient for classes. Barnes & Barnes utilizes an app for their residents, which can also use to submit maintenance requests, pay rent, and reach out for anything else. Parking is limited to 2 parking passes per apartment, and guest parking is free along the street (within the specified times). Parking has only been an issue when other residents don’t follow specified guidelines, and allow their guests to park in the lot, which takes away parking from other residents. We’ve seen that Barnes & Barnes does their best to provide assistance, by sending out reminders, and the local towing company can also be called to resolve the issue. Overall, not a bad place to live! Worst part may be all the one-ways in the area haha, but you get used to it."

"Lived here for 5 years. They have an arrangement with ABC towing. My car was towed 5 times over that period, from my parking spot while I slept. Clearly visible parking tag? Don't care tow your car. Live here and have a right to park here? Don't care tow your car. Each time $300 extortion fee had to be paid to have the car returned. Police are in on it and get a cut."
