"Would love to give a good review if the company wasn't so punitive whenever there are any issues with paying rent. They give out fees and restrictions for paying rent with any mistep and are completely against working with tenants in any sort of capacity to resolve those issues (even when you stress early action to correct mistakes on your part ) company policy is completely inflexible and they can and will issue fees and restrict methods of payment with every issue without compassion for their residents. Clearly they do not care enough to retain their residents, no matter how long you have rented from this company."

"I lived in apartment 313 and the view was spectacular at an affordable price. Maintenance was top notch and went above and beyond when completing service requests. I frequently watched the sunset from my living room and there is tons of outdoor space! The amenities are plentiful and well maintained. My neighbors were really friendly and the office staff was responsive. The only reason I didn't renew was because I relocated to another state for work. Thank you for providing a welcoming and safe community."

"Before moving to Detroit last month, we stayed in Lake Shore for a combined total of several years. I could not be more grateful for the time we spent living there - especially throughout the thick of the pandemic. Such a wonderful place to call home! Highly recommend to all considering! "I cannot say enough good things about Lake Shore! I moved in September 2019, and the only reason I am leaving is because I bought a house. Awesome staff, awesome neighbors, awesome views, and an awesome location! Besides a bit of highway noise, it is quiet, and you can catch the most gorgeous sunset views over the lake. The location is amazing as it is so close to 94, and almost halfway between both Ann Arbor and Detroit. Maintenance has always come within a day or two, sometimes they even come the same day for something minor like my closet door! Everyone in the office and clubhouse is amazing- super friendly, and helpful! Huge shout out to both Kaylene in leasing and manager Rachael, Dallas and I appreciate you both so much with everything from adding our dogs to our lease to being so accommodating with our move out! I could go on and on, but I would highly recommend everyone in the area to move to Lakeshore for a great priced apartment with an awesome community and great amenities."

"I’ve lived at Lakeshore since January of 2011 (six years) in three different apartments. I spent the first twenty or so years of my life in Ann Arbor so I’m pretty picky and I’ve been very happy here. Obviously Ann Arbor is a more affluent city than Ypsilanti but no one can afford to live in Ann Arbor which is why we all commute there. Lakeshore is definitely an oasis in Ypsilanti. I feel safe here and I even walk my dog in the middle of the night without worry. I’m someone who likes to smile and say hi to people I encounter and I’ve come across so many great people here. There are a lot of families, students (short drive to EMU), and young professionals living here. I’m also a dog owner and the dog community here is thriving as well haha. In the last couple of years they added a doggy drinking fountain to each dog park! No more carrying bottles of water and bowls to the dog park LOL. The property is pretty expansive and there are some pretty scenic dog walking areas. There’s really nothing like the views, fresh air, and the sound of the water. I even bought a kayak just to use at home! In the winter you’ll see lots of people ice fishing on the lake too although you won’t catch me doing that. Too scary lol. Maintenance has always been pretty much on point for me too which I feel is impressive given my six year run here and the fact that they are maintaining a THOUSAND apartments (not an exaggeration). The prices are pretty reasonable too considering everything you get. Other apartments in the area are only marginally less expensive and frankly they’re kind of grim."
