"Great place to stay for the weekend! The cabin was updated, stocked with necessities (towels, toilet paper, kitchen utensils, etc) and clean, the owners were very responsive before our stay and with check-out, and the grounds were well kept. Lots of good restaurants and bars nearby, along with a grocery store. We would definitely stay here again!"

"We rented out 5 cabins for a large group. The property was very nice, cabins were clean, no issues with that. One of the cabins we rented was the old office which is converted into a cabin and it had plenty of space for 5 people but it didn’t have a stove; all the other cabins did. The only reason I’m giving a 3 star instead of 5 is because there is no direct access to the lake. The lake is across the street, but you can’t get into the water from there. I checked with the management company when we arrived and they said we could get in anywhere, but there are private properties across the street, which means you can’t get in the water. If lake access was available, I would give it 5 stars."

"We had booked a family vacation for 5 cottages the end of July of this year. Unfortunately, 10 days before our vacation, I suffered a massive heart attack, and we were unable to take our vacation. We were given a full credit for a future reservation with the total amount we paid, $5700. "I celebrated by Birthday at the Herons Nest. Everything was Absolutely Perfect. Our cottage was immaculate and equipped with everything we needed for the weekend. It was Sooooo peaceful. The property grounds were stunning , so many beautiful flowers and trees. I HIGHLY recommend staying here and I cannot WAIT to stay again."

"Stayed at the Heron's Nest last week for NYE and it exceeded expectations. The location was ideal, it was clean, decorated nicely, bigger than we anticipated for 6 people, and the place was filled with all the amenities you could need. The property manager was responsive and kind. Our entire group decided we will definitely be coming back; it was a great way to ring in the new year."
