"Under new manager now and she is most rude woman I have ran across in my life. Very disrespectful towards tenets and even maintenance while in my unit she was belittling him and yelling at him. Told me I was very dirty and very uncalled for other names. Try telling me I don’t know my rights and that old manager told me wrong. Very disappointed and unsatisfied. Definitely don’t recommend this place for anybody. I was told by her that I can not talk to the management team in charge either. When the inspection was over she even said she was happy I was moving out and I don’t even know her. That was the first time having any encounters with her. She should not be in management and treating and talking to people like that and I will follow up further."

"I really enjoy the place, perfect starter for someone getting on their feet and being close to the college and/or even a job. I havent had any issues with management or the apartment itself. I would definitely recommend to a friend."

"Filled out app in October and told me it would be a 6 months waiting list. Indian hills called 2 months later and went through the paperwork but had some trouble leaving riverside Apts and got to move in to Indian Hills in February and got a townhouse. It was clean and updated when I moved in and haven't had any problems. I love it so much better then riverside Apts. The manager is nice and understanding."

"I applied for an apartment there last year and was denied because of my "criminal record" however I found out later my ex-father in law works for the Property Owner out of St. Joseph Michigan. My ex-father in law and I do NOT get along, he and his wife have guardianship of my daughter and DO NOT want to give her back, I have visitation and more coming up sometime soon! Anyway, I am sharing this information because after I applied for the apartment there, my ex-husband (not his son) found out I applied there and said some things that were NOT true that I supposedly put on the application. Thankfully I saved a copy. My ex-husband and ex-father in law have "buddied up" and that is where he got his information from! Now as far as my ex-father in law getting information...how he got it? YOU TELL ME? HMMMMM, pretty easily figured out I say...I spoke to someone at HUD and they told me to re-apply, I did and it's been a few months and I have not received a reply. I would certainly appeal it if denied as my situation has changed tremendously! The felony that I have is not violent in nature/nor is it a crime against a child or a minor. The issue in fact was really ridiculous and a family issue....totally. Anyway, I have been advised to take action on this matter but don't want to cause a lot of friction because I actually would like to live there...I know a few people that live there and have lived there in the past. And to say the least the rent is totally beyond reasonable and I feel I'd be happy there and my kids too! I am going to call the office again and try and get some answers...if my time has ran out to file an appeal I guess I will have to call the contact I have with HUD and figure out what to do...any suggestions?"
