"Lived here a little over a year now. We have enjoyed the quiet living space that this apartment complex offers. We do not have any above floor neighbors. We live on the single level complex and have not had any issues thus far. We have had no issues with management. One of our cats broke the sink and we were able to fix it on our own dime and time instead of trying to coordinate with the maintenance person.(costed us like 100$? maybe?) There are friendly people in the apartment although we keep to ourselves mostly. There are no loud noises during any parts of the day except maybe the trash truck which is loud anyways and the occasional dog barking but that typically is from the neighborhood next to us. Rent was not excessively too much either as we paid about 700 a month for a 2br 1ba. We also paid maybe 50$ a month for electric on a bad month? usually we kept to the 30-40's range. Heat was free. During winter months they had a truck plow around our cars and during summers there was a mower running every week or so. They recently (July 2021) added some new gutters so everything runs quite smoothly. I'd say the only thing I wish they would replace/fix were the screen doors/glass door/sliding door/windows. They're quite old and once I had left the screen door locked but partially opened the glass door for my cats. My largest cat had squeezed himself between the glass door and screen door causing the screen door to fall off the track and trapping him. My cat panicked and then wriggled himself out and escaped for about 3 weeks. I was able to post flyers and look out at all hours. Eventually I was able to catch him but if I can save someone the heartache, the better. Overall our experience has been exceeding positive with the home we have made here. Eventually when we leave, it will be a sad moment as we have made so many good memories here. Hopefully the next tenants will make many more."

"I'm a 60 yr old single woman & have filed police reports as my apt. is entered when I leave. Items are moved &/or disappear. The owner had the locks changed but my apt. is still entered. Who gave out a key? Definitely not me! The owner won't let me out of my lease w/o paying it off. She accussed me of passing out the key to my apt. WRONG! I do NOT feel safe living here; I'm moving. No compassion or concern is shown for me nor for my safety. Just give her the money!!"

"Manager is very rude, gets in,your personal business. Tenants above me were very loud and had a full size treadmill, the manager asked me if I talked to them about it, she said I was not used to "community " living and did not want to confront them. Really ? a treadmill in an upstairs apartment ? I called around to other apartment complexes in Niles, and they said it was insane and rude to let a treadmill be in an apartment period. If something needs repaired, she takes cheapest means possible, took 2 yrs to replace a bathroom exhaust fan with bad bearings, it could have seized up and caused a fire. I got bed bugs over a year ago, then her cousin's apartment got them recently and she blamed ME for them, had my apartment treated when my apartment did not have any active ones found , just so she could yell at me, my sister brought 2 pillows and a throw , she was there two days, when the manager asked me if I had bed bugs again. So she then blamed my sister, and NO bedding is to be brought in if someone visits, they could not have been brought in by my sister if the other apartment was infested with them. I paid the rent, she cannot tell me, let alone yell, NO BEDDING can be brought in , that, that is a "NO". Now she is trying to keep my security deposit saying it went towards bed bugs,really? ? No, no, it is a multi unit building,anyone could have brought them in , maintenance, delivery people, visitors, etc. Also, my carpeting needed stretched it had over a 50" buckle in the center of the living room, she left me a message on my answering machine, for me to move ALL my furniture so they could stretch it, I called around to the other complexes in Niles, they said they move the furniture, stretch the carpet and put back, it was no big deal. She came back with , "YOU are the type of person, that if we move your furniture, you would say we broke it, I have VERY nice, expensive furniture, not cheap, it would not get broken, trust me, this woman is unreasonable, and should not be in charge in my own opinion, unfortunately her and her mother owns these apartments, so she apparently thinks she can bully you whenever she chooses, that is why I moved out, could no longer taker her mouth and her telling me what to do in MY apartment for $760.00 a month. You have been informed in advance, very rude lady and non of her business who visits you or what they bring! Her name is below this review, you cannot rate your own business Katie Heywood !"
