Hampton Inn by Hilton Niles, MI

"Rooms are ok. We stayed Thurs-monday and the room was never cleaned, nor did we receive any towels. We paid double the standard fee because it’s booked through a hockey tournament in south bend that gets a commission. The problem with this hotel, is that they agree to have two teams with thirty 10-13 years old boys spend the weekend, but when the boys act in age appropriate manner (giggling at continental breakfast, noise in hallways, running to elevators) the staff treats them incredibly rudely. They’ve been going out of their way to yell at kids, and speaking loudly in front of moms eating with well behaved kids taking about how they want to charge each of us $200 because the garbage cans in the breakfast area were overfull. Meanwhile they have a live sex show in the pool from other guests in front of these same 10-13 year old boys, and that seems to not be on the staffs radar. Hotel staff is weird, rude, and many appear to be on drugs. It’s a weird place and considering we’re paying double, we would like to not treat our kids like prisoners. If they don’t want sports teams staying here, then don’t agree to have sports teams stay. The kids behavior is mild at best, and when the kids are approached, they stop doing whatever it is that the staff wants them to stop. But the list keeps getting longer and we’re hoping to check out soon. Will never stay here again and bring them the $15,000 that they made this weekend. They can then cater to the other guests performing live sex acts in the pool."

"I don’t recommend this hotel, At all because their employee stolen from guest. And management does not care. Do not bring your most expensive items to this here. The bathroom was not clean. It had mold and rust in the corners of the shower also."

"Spent four days in Niles near my Dad for Christmas. Rooms were comfortable, and clean. Spacious and nice. Staff was very nice and polite. Kids loved the breakfast. Lots to choose from."

"New facility so everything is new. My daughter lives nearby making this a perfect hotel spot. Breakfasts are what you would expect for free. Waffles, hard boiled eggs, sausage, potatoes, yogurt, juices, cereal, toasts of all kinds, etc. The coffee is your typical midwest strength (more like tea). I suggest hitting a local coffee house, if you need coffee-zilla."

"We stayed 1 night. Front desk staff checked us in quick. He was not friendly nor rude, just apathetic, which is fine. Room was clean, except some minor issues in the bathroom (cobwebs and floor needed swept better. Half a roll of toilet paper.) Floors are very creaky, could hear the upstairs people walking around most of night. Has a nice pool and gym. Overall, nice for the price."
