"My best friend's father was found dead in his apartment at their other complex-West Winds and he went into a depression and lost his job. I came to stay with him and help out. The eviction process had already started and by now we are both gainfully employed fulltime. I offered to pay the past due in full and he asked that his lease be renewed.. it was outright denied. They should have AT LEAST done a month to month probationary lease. We are humans and this is real life. Very discriminatory. After being denied a renewal in less than a month we are left stressfully trying to find a place to live in the area and I informed I will no longer be paying his balance due as we have to find a new living situation. HEARTLESS discrimination at its finest."

"The halls are full of pot smoke. You can't keep the smoke out of your apartment. Your eyes and throat burn. People leave there garage in the halls for days. My first week my apartment flooded, then had to move to another building where that one the ceiling in the bedroom linked and water dripped from the fan. I was so happy when my lease was up."

"In my experience of this place I’ve been here less than a year and I’ve had to make multiple complaints about a tenant above me who crashed into my car called the police on me and ever since has been harassing my family have wrote multiple emails to the office and nothings been done besides telling us if we want to break the lease there will be no penalty so if you’re thinking about moving here I would look elsewhere and the bugs are so bad I’ve woke up to ants crawling all over me"

"I enjoy living at Buchanan Place apts. Diane in the office is a delightful person to deal with. The apts.are clean and they allow pets which is a bonus to all pet lovers."

"Been in contact with them for almost two weeks getting everything I need ready to go so I could put a deposit down to put me on a waitlist... called to get their hours so I could go in and finish things up and the office manager was so rude, telling me she had no clue what I was talking about and went as far as telling me that I called the wrong place! She was absolutely awful to talk to, rude from the minute she answered the phone. Come to find out, all the other times I had either gone there or talked on the phone with someone, I was talking to a regional manager... who apparently was telling me all wrong information. You would think the regional manager would be able to give me correct information. I definitely will not be trying to get an apartment here anymore."
