"Does not fix things properly.. And the apartment floods with water after rain or from the hot water tank in the hallway.. And the carpet is old and stinks.. I really hate it out here.. Can not wait til I find something better.. If you are looking to start some where then yes but to live for ever NO.."

"The apartments are spacious; however, management performs unethical business practices. I vacated the premises following the vacating rules under the state of Michigan law, MCL 554.611 which requires providing the landlord with a forwarding address within a set time frame. Additionally, I gave management more than enough time in regards to a notice of me vacating the premises based on the lease contract. Management failed to refund my deposit by check or money order, OR send—by mail—an itemized list of damages lawfully assessed against the deposit as stated by law MCL 554.609. After I contacted them about their mistake and requested my deposit, I was told no because of cleaning fees they failed to notify me of in writing as required by law. Then the they said they had the wrong address on file although I have a copy of the letter I sent them with the correct address. I told them I will file a suit in small claims court and management said, "Do what you need to do." In short, the apartments are spacious, but if you decide to become a tenant here, know that you run the risk of being treated unfairly and management trying to find any way to keep your money--even if it means breaking the law."
